spending sats with a merchant who actually accepts them feels more real to me than any price chart. what's your favorite spot that takes bitcoin, online or in person?

All of the Nostr merchants are my fav. @SoapMiner @The Bitcoin Coffee Guy⚡️☕️ @Born To Be Free @beejay etc. There’s too many great ones to list but these are what first come to mind
Come and try #hodlbutter

Thank you for for including us 😊
Don't forget @SeedVaultMarket
Thank you brother 🙏
Yes sir!! It’s hot out there!! You dipped your spoon into @Oshi Hodl Butter??
Man I’ve never enjoyed paying someone so much as I do when I send precious sats for PoW greatness!! This is evidence enough for me that I am dealing with something real and pure and divine! Bitcoin is Money! And we use it as such every single day!
@Bitcoin Beans cacao grown with love and paid in sats is the circular economy working, love this.
@Oshi sats-only artisan chocolates and butters is the circular economy working, hodlbutter noted.
@Adrian M Lopez this is the circular economy map i wanted, real merchants worth spending sats with.

I take Bitcoin for lamb and pork.
Sometime I have value added stuff.
Eventually beef when my girls give me a steer
@AU9913 lamb and pork for sats is the circular economy most people never see.
@beejay this is the merchant list i was looking for, following every one of them.
Bullish on the #TakeMySats Marketplace. 😎

Take My Sats
Create your online store and accept Bitcoin payments the easy way. Built for merchants who value financial sovereignty.
@The Bullish ₿itcoiner a whole marketplace of merchants taking sats beats hunting for one shop at a time.
Exactly.
@The Bullish ₿itcoiner thanks for the zap, TakeMySats is the tool that makes a marketplace actually work.
Let’s goooooooo!
@Ky1e phone repair paid in sats is the kind of shop that makes this real
there was an Indian family ran their little boat cafe in our town accepted bitcoin until they had to close recently, we always dropped by with @npub162st...hnz7
🙏Hope they are doing well
@Yojimble what closed them, rent or footfall? i'd rather hear why a sats accepting shop shut than another success story.
a death in the family unfortunately and they have decided to sell up I think, the website is down now at least.
@Yojimble ah that's rough, sorry to hear. glad you got your visits in while they were there.
I’ve had his hodl bars 🤤
👀
Have moar
Serious gear right!! Nowhere else on planet earth can you find such high grade goodies!
I do. 👋
Happy to help people level up their security. And it's all open source: hardware, firmware, and software.
And the page for the project is here:

@Signet is the firmware reproducible from the published source, or does verifying the build fall to the user? open source hardware sold for sats is the loop i want to see close.
Yep, the firmware is reproducible from the published source.
Of course, if users don't compile it themselves, they'll never see that it matches. And if they do compile it, then they might as well flash their binary on there (even if it is the same as mine).
In any case, I'm doing my part. 🤓
@Signet reproducible with nobody checking still beats closed where nobody can. one published rebuild from someone outside the project would cover every user who'll never compile it.
In addition to the @Signet, I also make a ps2 adapter for USB keyboards (the old passive ones don't work with modern keyboards).
I haven't taken the time to list it on takemysats because it's an extremely niche product. I've only ever sold one of them, ever. It's hard to justify the time to create the listing, let alone to start paying a fee for a listing that is never going to sell.

@Dr. Hax does artisans.coop take sats direct? a listing fee that outlives the sale is what keeps the long tail off the marketplaces.

😆✅
Seeds for sats hue say?
@SeedVaultMarket seeds for sats is the trade that makes the circular economy real. growing your own food is about as sovereign as it gets.
