@brugeman fyi: in dashboard when I edit the navigation as admin, works fine and update the navigation bar. BUT when I edit the hashtags (add some) as admin and save the changes, it doesn't update. When logout and login again it doesn't shows the hashtags I added, but only the one which I used in the beginning and "publish".
Also I can't delete a second "page" I created by mistake. I know it's early development but just to know! General it's fucking great!!!

Yeah uses ghost themes but plugs your nostr events. I think youโd need a tool to import posts to nostr - donโt think it exists yet

And maybe - custom domain will be our paid Pro plan feature. But you can self-host this on github pages for free and attach custom domain there, but it won't be working as good there - it will be client-side rendered so no meta tags for link sharing and search engines.

I created yesterday a domain (archjourney.npub.pro) and then rename it just to check how it works. But now when I login as admin it doesn't show me the archjourney domain anymore! And when I try to rename one of my domains back to just "archjourney" it says that the domain already exists..๐
Please help ๐. Your app it's great and i would be grateful if we can solve this (no problem even if you delete all my domains so I can start a new from the beginning and do it right)

Static sites are closer - we serve prerendered html files. If self hosting right now you will just serve several static files, rendering happens in the browser. Themes are DSL and can't inject arbitrary code into the engine, whether it's running on the server or in the browser.

The same thing happened to me too. Furthermore, I cannot edit the choice of notes or posts, nor the choice of tags.
On which site did you try? The list of relays to publish comments is inbox relays of the author, maybe those were bad on someone's site

I understand we can change our domains, say I change the original to something else, does that free it up to be used for the theme I tried to change it to? Or should I wait for the ability to change themes on an existing site to be fixed? Ty!

I changed mikemonty81 to mikemonty1 and then tried to change mikemonty29 to mikemonty81 and saw the error in the screenshot. So I guess I canโt just change the domain to get the correct theme to display and the domain would be lost to me if I tried to with the current iteration ๐

This is something I wanted to do, but didn't have the coding skills to accomplish.
I started blogging on Ghost a couple years ago until I found nostr and started using NIP23.
A couple months ago, I added markdown files to a ghost instance on Start9 because I wanted to hoat my blog on my own too.
Now I just need to add my blogposts to any long-form content site and it shows up on a version of ghost built on nostr.

Nostr has NIP-15 for resilient marketplaces. Maybe that can be used for shops. NIP-15 defines kind 1021 for bids and kind 1022 for bid confirmations.
it means that the back end is handled by nostr protocol on relays as oppose to internet protocol on centralized servers.
For example. you'd need ruby on rails/python/php to handle databases (back-end) in a legacy social media and you'd need SQL for server communication. With nostr you just write front end and fetch events
*this is maybe not very accurate, i'm a hobbyist, not a serious dev ;D

We plan to allow editing various post metadata in the future. There is 'featured post' feature in many Ghost themes, I guess it could work. What if we use "Pinned posts" 10001 event to mark posts as featured? Will look into that.
Choose "Log in with DM", paste your npub, the read a DM with one-time code, type it on the site, just like I do on the video. Do that work?

Yes, I have both sites now. I changed the name of the โoldโ one to open the namespace, but I still have โdomain already takenโ when I try to change the โ45โ one. Iโll try again in a few minutes
Iโve changed it back for now, I didnโt have trouble getting the namespace back in the site that originally had it
