Spam (e.g. JPEGs) isn’t the real problem. It’s a red herring. It’s the take over of Bitcoin by VC/Angel investors, exploiting SegWit/Taproot to tokenize Bitcoin into the fiat world (e.g. stablecoins). It’s why/how the datacarrier definition got stealthily changed. It’s why Luke’s taproot inscription exploit/bug fix PR was quickly rejected. It’s the real reason for the baseless opposition to BIP-110. And I think it’s the real reason for relaxing OP_RETURN - we just haven’t seen it exploited yet. It’s why all the gaslighting … because they can’t reveal the real driver. FOLLOW THE MONEY AND IT BECOMES CLEAR!
