Why would people give up control (and their eye ball features) ? What is attracting people to this ?
What does Sam Alt’ knows that we don’t ? I thought he was helping… Where did he go wrong? What problem is this trying to solve?

image Damn! It's the cow, the lamb etc that walk in a line by their nature. Humans don't do that.. It's not their nature. It's the training, all out training, or in other words the general intellectual culture, from the embryonic stage to the funeral that makes people fall in line like soldiers. Damn!

When someone keeps their "character" tight lest it's lost, it shows their insecurity. Agreeing with others where you really agree is not NPC. However NPC syndrome is real like in those "crazy lines" as Sam Altman describes.

It's like that movie the Bird box 😄. It gets you, if you look at it.

High time preference.
That’s an “Orb” which they use to scan your eyes and give you a unique “World ID” which you can then allows you to sign in to services and use the worldcoin currency. But don’t worry it’s completely “private” and probably won’t be misused at all. 😂

People are attracted to a lot of dumb things, because they're mostly stupid.

All the comments to that tweet are negative. No one saying anything positive. Are we certain that line isn't for an iphone or concert?

One more reason humanity does not give even a single fuck about privacy. This is by far one of the creepiest things. If gouvernments will buy into this, and they will do, we are fucked. Iris scanning, app of everything, countries starting to like more and more the chinese firewall which drops fully encrypted pkgs. On the other hand cryptoworld inventing km long new documentation everyday. When you think you got it, new concepts appear, new technologies, new nods to install, new ppl out of noware with new ideas. And there at the bottom is the rest of the world: the normies, the parents, the non tech (the real plebs) that understand nothing out all this, no longger being able even to conceve buyng a house or setting some money on the side and struggling paycheck to paycheck. The nft disaster from last years are a testimony to our level of desperation we're at

I like to imagine these are the same people that scoff when you tell them about BTC... sometimes stupid just can't be fixed
Assuming Apple is to be believed (highly likely given reputation risk) the representation of your thumbprint exists only in the secure element on your iPhone. The orb and Worldcoin are the polar opposite.

Yea. Then again thumbprint method is not recent or new. Ancient Babylon used it for business transactions. China 200BC used it as identifiers down to even 1800s English used fingerprints on contracts. It's been used longer than IDs and common. Other human identifiers such as gov’t numbering citizens are through ID, Social Security No Some unique ones to humans that are still not common : Face recognition, Voice Print, DNA, Iris Scan, Retina Scan. There are machines built to detect it for the benefit of the users, hence it has its own privacy clause. But nothing so drastic as to scan eyes globally - and this would be a record even the gov'ts won't have (yet). Its a bit creepy

Conviction in bitcoin is easy, yet the long road full of crap along the way make it a struggle at times… I truly look forward to the day when we can see things clearer together, I’ll continue to be patient.
I’m not interested in any biometric platform being offered by the pedophile oligarchs of Silicon Valley
Worldcoin is stupid and will fail spectacularly. Also, I think this video is bullshit. 1) Video appears to be from Shanghai - SH Tower is in background (raising serious doubts on validity for me, video is easy enough to doctor) 2) Worldcoin in China? Lol, plz - They already have Wechat, why let some clown ass foreigner in on their surveillance stack? Makes ZERO sense. 3) Line is like 150 people, I’ve seen several thousand people line up for a random sneaker releases in Shanghai - this is a joke 4) In the video, the Orb is ON THE GROUND on some unlit side street somewhere in Shanghai… - Right, because that makes sense. 5) 8 ppl per second is 10800 ppl per day, which at that rate scales to 8B ppl over TWO THOUSAND AND THIRTY YEARS… 6) Altman is a clown 🤡

Since sometime ago, Iris, facial patterns, fingerprint and many other biológical patterns should not be accepted as way to access to a place or service.

Your registered in a way that will follow you to your death bed. Should you ever do or say anything against the criminality of the persons running things you can be permanently excluded from the ability to provide for yourself or your family.
The visual of the person kneeling down in front of the orb at the end of the video is the part that really shook me. The whole thing rubbed me the wrong way from the beginning but that just seems like some truly evil shit.

using your fingerprint and retina/face scan on your smart device is an eye no one discusses. this kind of conversation is incomplete and deliberately sidesteps the reality of data collected remotely for years via smart tech. i cover my front facing camera and disable all biometrics on my iphones as well as on my daughter's (i'm still beating my teenage son down about covering the camera). it's a false point of sale regarding "realigning" severed biometrics.

not considering they are skunkworks alignment tools is shortsighted. all data will eventually be sorted into blocks and it's only a matter of time until a new wave of intense discovery because of this occurs.
