We really need to talk about that Privacy Policy of yours. I don’t see how any of this aligns with the values you portrait to uphold and the marketing you’re doing.

I would choose the iPad so it's ONLY Apple that's snooping on my child and not some random tiny startup that maximizes profits by selling that data to 963 trusted partners.

In todays society people are increasingly growing aware of scams like this. You just want to monitor kids & make profiles out of em. Daylight more like Dayspy if you really wanted to profit you wouldn't make stuff like this. I'll be sure to spread the privacy policy with what I think. You need to understand profitting off the kids & monitoring usage is going to have you ending up bankrupt.

👀 I was literally thinking of buying an @npub1a00w...9q3h tablet but now I’m not so sure. I’m hoping they can rectify this because I was excited for a no-blue light device :/ thank you for bringing this to our attention!!

Yeah, I was also planning to get one, but then I checked their privacy policy 😬 It's not the first time @they get confronted with their shady privacy practices, but so far they just keep ignoring the community, which for itself speaks a lot.

I think they hope you don't realize that remarkable, supernote, and the mostly FOSS PineNote exist. They are not competitively priced in the space in my opinion.

This is an awesome response from the team. Thanks so much for clearing this up! My initial suspicions as to the root of the phrasing being related to your backend and reader app where correct then. So glad you’re not even taking basic telemetry on-device so far.
