Make sure you're following the content you want to see! I follow a lot of btc-content folks but also a lot of permaculture/farming/gardening/homesteading because that's a big focus for me these days.
My feed is full of stuff that has nothing to do with bitcoin. Most of those folks are orange-pilled, but the vast majority of their posts are about sheep, mulberry trees, water catchment, etc.

I quit Twitter twice and permanently deleted the account each time. There’s a 30 period during which can reactivate and revive your data. After 30 days it’s gone for good. On my third try I just passed 30 days. Quitting smoking took more tries. No looking back.
I have to be on LinkedIn for work and a marketing team manages my Instagram and Facebook (I don’t even have log ins). Other than that, I’m Nostr only.
It’s still harder to get a pulse on Bitcoin here imo but it’s worth it to own my data and it’s getting better fast.

I honestly haven't used Twitter or cared about it since December 2022. It makes no sense to keep it around when I only used it to share random Nostr related content. It never had any major impact or any meaningful conversations. Those happen here.

I can get more likes and virality on twitter, but for actual feedback, discussion, genuine interaction, nostr is consistently better, even with less than half the followers

The only downside of nostr is the feed but once you get used to it and know how to use it, it becomes pretty decent with primal.

I often wonder who you will be likened to in 1000’s of years - when history is being told and relived on and through a complete #bitcoin standard.
Where everything future generations and civilisations do, is imbedded in #bitcoin.

I found the #Nostr community engages in deeper conversations compared to the superficial bullshit on mainstream social media platforms, where entertainment often takes precedence over fostering societal enlightenment and meaningful dialogue amidst all the noise.
Nostr's got a real shot at replacing that crap within a year, given its emphasis on genuine interaction and substantive discussions.
