Good morning! Loved Damus but actually deleted it recently to cut out social media phone scrolling in my life. Using Coracle now on PC thanks @General Ned Ludd

GOOD MORNING. YES SIR🫡 #nostronly #fucktwxtter
We're all here for the same handful of reasons. Change takes time & effort. The ghosts of the past aren't going to vanish quickly, and where there are no roads there is no right path, just a right direction. If you're able, buy services from any product you use that's attempting to build a sustainable business model. If they have not yet started that process, donate directly to the projects you use. If you don't know who's building the tools you use, ask. To support the broader ecosystem, donate to a foundation. It doesn't have to be a lot. Little bits add up. If you can't donate, then be the algorithm. Help promote services & products. Do so off #nostr too. Change your receiving address to a dev's. If you want to donate larger amounts, do your research. Make sure your money goes towards what you believe in before you put it anywhere. If you're building, take time to promote & engage or find someone who is willing to do that for you. Apply for grants. Ask for donations. Put a price on it. There is no shame in that. You know what your time is worth, but be reasonable and patient. It's a small village. Is there urgency in upping user numbers & retention? Probably. And legitimately. That's its own topic. But you can help by taking the time to educate those willing to learn, by engaging through conversation, by supporting content creators trying to make v4v work. If you're building, listen to feedback. Ask questions. You'll also gain financial support through this, and it will help build the part-of-something culture that keeps us all here now. It takes a lot of balls or booze to call out things that seem shady or unjust. That can lead to better transparency or creative approaches to fixing a problem that might have not been seen as such. No one is right all the time, even if they're right most of the time. Question everything. Not that anyone should care what I think, but I do a lot of it. Sometimes too much. 😅

GOOD MORNING, STAY HUMBLE AND STACK ZAPS
I DON’T KNOW WHO FIRST COINED THE PHRASE “FREEDOM TECH” BUT I’VE ENCOUNTERED IT MOST FREQUENTLY ASSOCIATED WITH ODELL. I am CERTAIN THE SOURCE WAS not TED KACZYNSKI WHO BELIEVED all TECHNOLOGY LED TO HUMAN DESTRUCTION (and he was partially correct). “FREEDOM TECH” SIMPLE ENOUGH: BITCOIN, SATSLINK, NOSTR AND THEIR PRECURSORS. I GET IT—I THOUGHT. IT WASN’T UNTIL I ASKED, “AS OPPOSED TO?” THAT THIS PARTICULAR PHRASE’S SIGNIFICANCE BECAME CRYSTAL CLEAR. AS OPPOSED TO … “ENSLAVING TECH!” THIS DISTINCTION CAME TO ME WHILE READING, “The Unabomber’s Next-Door Neighbor Speaks Out In New Book,” WHICH I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. CHECK THE REVIEWS, I BELIEVE IT WOULD APPEAL TO A BROAD AUDIENCE. CHEERS
