🤔👇 It’s pretty well known that brain work can be more taxing than physical work. Social use of “social media” generally doesn’t require much brain work (or brain) so it isn’t necessarily “taxing.” Following the Trump’n Yahoo crime circus is a different story. Regardless of which side you are on, you are very likely experiencing an emotional drain of energy. This energy is then not available for productive or regenerative use therefore is yet another tangible, though “hidden tax on humanity.” Add lost productivity to the list of “costs” of MAGA. This just occurred to me via self-observation. Just my two sats.

I wonder how many of today’s MAGA Trump’nYahoos were “peace and love” flower children in the sixties? I mean the math works perfectly!

Practicing getting over my “this is total BS, surely at some point, once enough people see it, there will be hell to pay!” I have needed to be confident “good” triumphs over “evil” organically. My worldview was built on it. My mistake, possibly it’s always been corrupt, or, there was a “tipping point” I missed. In either case, at this point I accept we are facing a “natural” law; power is never given up, it must be taken and inevitably, violently. If we don’t get over our squeamishness with violence we’re doomed to endure their propensity for it.
