Censorship-resistant in name only CRINO
you can host it everywhere. You just have to provide a link to .mp4. You aren't required to use their front-end, there are other options.

centralized world = centralized problems
"There is a dictatorship in Brazil and Rumble is a channel to disseminate information that the regime does not want people to have access to. Thank you for not complying with clearly illegal and unconstitutional orders to censor and persecute brazilian citizens."
I hope so too, but bit unlikely imo. He said this when asked if the shutting off of Rumble would affect him being able to stream his show: "No - it will make it harder for Brazilians to watch the show of course, but it won't have any technical effect on our ability to stream and broadcast it for our audience outside of Brazil -- which, of course, is the vast majority of our viewers since it's in English." I think the point of Rumble has been and always will be the US/Canada, and to test their laws on free speech. I think he'd only turn to Nostr if those were overruled and things like Rumble couldn't exist. Hope I am wrong though.
video is overused and unnecessary but the feeble minded crave it and there is no reason why it can't be done in a decentralized fashion as bit torrents have been doing it forever even when internet was much slower ... it can't be done using free relays though ... all data beyond text should be hosted by users, not relays ... if you don't make your storage / bandwidth available ( ex: you're on a phone ) you have to pay somebody else for theirs or you only get to see plain text.
Brazil is ruled by criminals, completely, from its farcical political system to the joke that the judiciary system is, all scum cartel members. The country is well beyond what most people would associate with Saudi Arabia or China in terms of censorship or an authoritarian regime. Yet, not what comes first to mind when mentioning Brazil. Lived there for 20 years. Sad!
