Rumble is a centralised platform. Just because they declare that they're anti censorship doesn't make them aligned with Bitcoin. Bitcoiners have higher standards. I'm not opposed to visiting Rumble & the platform does hold some value to me. I just don't think it's something I'm keen to grok. The future must be decentralised. Protocols > platforms.
If you see it from an existing MACROSCOPIC ecosystem viewpoint(NOSTR, which I’m contributing to by being here and trying out things more than most, is by now a MICROSCOPIC ecosystem), there is value in trying to make the ecosystem itself more decentralised; now it is extremely centralised. Alternatives like Rumble in this ecosystem of centralised enteties growing, at THE COST of less power to the Behemots and Techtyrants, makes the existing macroscopic ecosystem more decentralised. There is value in this. NOSTR cannot scale fast enough to counter the tyrranical tendencies in our current era. NOSTR belongs to the future. But we need more decentralisation NOW. It cannot wait.
