would you also say aluminum foil leeches in to your food if you're just storing it in the fridge or only when cooking with it?
How can you tell if the parchment paper you are using is bleached or not? Nothing on the product box indicated whether it was or not. Is it just by colour? I notice some parchment is darker than others.

Yes, the sunken cost fallacy. The problem is when you think you are making improvements, but in reality you are not. You only think you have improved, but in reality it is insignificant at best. How many people put significant effort into improving what turns out to be a rounding error. Have fun with the misinformation campaign.
Number 5 every Cleaner. Replace it with Vinegar Cleaner. Just 2 Part 5% clear Vinegar on 1 Part Water that's all you need to clean nearly everything. Put it in a Glas Spray Bottle so it's easier to use, also for the wood cutting board. Sometimes I also wash my dish with it. It's way better for you and the environment. And it safes money which you can put in your stack
If you have to use plantbased oils to cook avocado oil is a good choice. But beware often times it's mixed with seed oils. Better choice would be coconut oil imo. But beware to not heat them to their smokepoint. Nothing beats animal fats though

Oh yeah? How do you distinguish between a proper source from an improper source when fiat science has been around since the 70s? I'll provide an example of what is either information or misinformation found on social media. You tell me what this is (information or misinformation) and how you can prove it either way.
The same problem is used in the media for deodorants. There is no aluminum in deodorant. It is aluminum salts that are used. Whether that is ultimately the problem is always under review.
And my rule is, I don't buy things with a ingredient list that I do not understand. Also I make everything from scratch.
Yes, cholesterol is a body made substance. it's produced to reduce inflammations! So if people have high cholesterol, it's not only because of what they eat...it's also because they have high inflammation in their body. If you suppress cholesterol with medication, then it will be a vicious cycle. Because that will not reduce the inflammation.

Having healthy habits, like: Fresh home made meals from organic resources, lots of whole raw foods, turmeric, ginger, wild herbs, less artificial light and glasses that filter the blue light, more natural light and sun, daily movement, healthy thoughts and relationships, etc. πŸ’š If we have a very high cholesterol level, it's good to support the liver with bitter herbs, seeds and nuts with omega 3 like raw quality of walnuts, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, flax seeds etc. No bread, pasta rice etc. More raw fruits and veggies.

Sad but true. And we are not only dying younger, we are also dying sicker. Most things made of paper and cardboard that are water and grease repellent are treated with PFAS. Unfortunately. This also includes paper straws, to-go paper cups, pizza boxes, etc. Even packaging that is labelled as recycled or compostable can contain PFAS and so these toxins also get directly from the compost into the soil and into the water, animals, plants and thus also into humans.
Noticing no mention of Avocado oil, which seems to be all the rage as a cooking oil that isn't a seed oil that is also not saturated. Any data on problems with this? I definitely use coconut oil a bit as well, and have started collecting tallow from the beef hearts I cook in my slow cooker (crazy how cheap these sell for...), but with my blood pressure and LDL where they are I do usually look for a bit lower saturated fat intake if only to raise my HDL:LDL ratio. All ears if I've got it all backward here -- nutrition is definitely not my strongest suit.
Love seeing the Vitamix with the stainless steel container in the back! I still use nonstick occasionally, especially in appliances that came with proprietary non-stick pans (Zojirushi rice cookers, best in the market but unfortunately non-stick), but I've been switching to using stainless steel and cast iron pans. I prefer parchment paper, only occasionally use foil primarily as a cover or something. Peanut oil I use along with avocado/coconut/olive oils and animal fats. I'm also good with palm oil, another fruit oil. Fully agree with the cutting boards. Wood is king!
