Jan3 is a very special day for bitcoiners because it’s the day Satoshi Nakamoto, a pseudonymous participant on a cypherpunks’ mailing list and a discussion forum on freedom and digital peer to peer cash, started running the bitcoin software they had first presented a couple of months before.
From one person to several hundred million participants, Bitcoin adoption is growing stronger notwithstanding many forms of great resistance. The wildfire is apparently faster than that of the internet in the late nineties.
Bitcoin benefits those who were greedy or humble enough, curious or desperate enough to onboard the orange train.
By protecting us from inflation and coercion, it changes us. We see our horizon expanding.
