I honestly don't know what all these people who don't want to see Bitcoin want to see instead.
I always say this👍 There is a lack of tutorials for beginners But one drawback to this is that Nostr clients do not display PDFs or Slides The notes view format or images are not suitable for these kind of content

Tick Tock next block. Bitcoin doesn’t care.
About that … so pump These Numbers up If it’s just ones and zeros … too easy
Dafuq … a year ago it was nothing but #btc & #bitcoin You’re not new. You know where to find it … right?
BlackBerry and Strawberry Wine said what? Whatever give me a banana 🍌 KitKat & I’ll do it.
💯 I’m ok with nostr staying bitcoin dense for years. When the masses come I’ll be gone fish’n

perennials forsake their roots every season/evergreens don't.......natchlaw
I'd agree, same bullshit on repeat. All the usual big accounts cross-posting from X or tagging Saylor. Pitiful.

Why are WE all Satoshi ? WE - are what keeps the network alive - WE - are what enables the perpetual building of the network that is Bitcoin WE - are all the creators of Bitcoin - hence we are all Satoshi But, on a deeper level… 1 Satoshi sacrificed for better money - You too are sacrificing something as an act of faith that Bitcoin can succeed as a better money and therefore a better way of life 2 Satoshi represents the hero’s journey - you too as a bitcoiner embody the hero’s journey and embark on your own personal individuation process 3 Satoshi represents the great mystery of this universe - you too are the great mystery of the universe
I agree it doesn’t. The loud voices are just bored and want to play with things, not understanding that with over $1 Trillion in the network people aren’t going to leave them to just “play” like they want. Bitcoin won’t move until these Devs change their tactics and stop pretending it’s 2013. They don’t even appear to know who their target audience is for changes, they just post platitudes about how it must.
There is a social contract with the user base, most of whom are using it as a store of value. Some might not like the SoV use case, but it happens to be dominant. OP_CAT combined with OP_DUP can exponentially increase the memory usage of all the nodes, up to a limit. As memory is more expensive than disk, it's a bit like a block size increase in terms of using resources. Question is whether the use cases justify the risk, and also the risk of a contentious chain split. I am sure many of bitcoin's enemies would stir the pot there. OP_CAT is already enabled on liquid and no one uses it. I think they should show the user base how amazing it is in demos, and if the users say, "wow", that is a better argument.
“Question is whether the use cases justify the risk, and also the risk of a contentious chain split.” No, that is not the question. These clowns don’t even know who they’re supposed to be persuading. They don’t know what these people would gain from their proposed changes. They don’t know what those people might risk (ie SoV as you identified). They in fact don’t know shit about fuck. They whinge like children about nice-to-haves whilst not being able to sell their way out of a wet paper bag. The question actually is “what do the people making this decision stand to gain from adopting this fork, and at what risk?” They’ve not articulated either the benefits to the decision makers, nor the possible downsides. That’s why they’re going nowhere, fast. It’s not 2013 where you’re selling your ideas to the whole network who run nodes and decide the rules. It’s 2024 where retirements and multibillion dollar businesses who use third party custody are on the line, not to mention the massive value the noderunners have in BTC. You can’t sell to an undefined customer and these Devs have no idea who the customer is for their nonsense. They are creating products for themselves that no-one else will want.
Then they are funded with 0.007% of the network - that’s nothing. Let them use every psyop in the book, these 🤡s are going nowhere. You don’t move consensus at $1.4 Trillion without a proper, planned, well executed sales & marketing strategy. There is no sales & marketing strategy behind these idiots; as I said, they don’t even know who they’re selling to. You can’t execute sales & marketing without defining your target audience and I bet you anything if you sat with one of these devs and asked who they want to communicate with they couldn’t articulate it. If the clowns start bringing in people who understand sales, marketing, PR, campaigning, data analysis, propaganda etc - then I might start worrying. As it is, they’re generals fighting the last war. I’m not going to interrupt my enemies making that mistake.
