This is the scariest book I have ever read in my entire life. Palantir co-founder Alex Karp calls for what can only be described as a new national socialism – a society in which we need to define a new "national project" guided by the streamlining of culture, religion, and education into a conform blob directed by the Government and tech elites to combat what he describes as the biggest problem facing the US today: diversity of opinion. Read it so you'll know what's coming. image

It sounds like regurgitation of the same old socialist playbook. They can socialize deez nuts. Plenty to go around. I will resist.
Very believable he thinks like since he confounded his company with a guy who shut down and entire news organization for hurting his feelings.
the way he casually describes the study of ‘who deserves to live vs who deserves to die’ as “interesting” makes my skin crawl
Karp is an unreconstructed "Pax Americana" neoconservative who has somehow managed to survive, like a crocodile hiding under an iceberg, the purge of these people from Republican retail politics during the rise of Trump. Him and people like Palmer Luckey somehow get a "pass" to be taken seriously despite being vigorous supporters of disastrous American foreign policy goals.

Problem is, these are the people who are already in charge, right now, in the US. DOGE is essentially run by Palantir. Trump and his cabinet of Fox presenters are just their "useful idiots"

I think you fail to understand how deeply embedded Thiel's people are in this admin.
"FFS" can refer to several different things depending on the context: Most commonly, it is an initialism for the exclamation "for fuck's sake," used to express frustration or annoyance. In computing, FFS often stands for "Fast File System," a Unix file system designed to improve disk performance by reducing fragmentation and optimizing data placement. FFS also refers to "Fuck Fiat Scam"
Beware the technocrats behind the scene. They have been working on this for a long long time. Our modern tools of communication and surveillance is a dream come true for the social engineer. Nostr and bitcoin cannot grow fast enough View quoted note →
Well yeah that's why I put the "retail" in "retail politics." In the 00s and early 10's Republicans got booed off the stage for even suggesting (as Ron Paul did) that America modulate it's agressive foreign policy stance. Now that's much less popular, at least with the masses... But I agree that the Neocon warmongers have managed to remain "in the room where it happens", so to speak, to a surprising degree in this administration. C.f. Mike Waltz who's only getting kicked out because of his rank incompetence, rather than any ideological misgivings...

Good book from Alexandder carp and i agree with his critics that Silicon Valley focus on customer application , while what we need is more on defense or cyber security or technology that can make us bullet proof against other nation attack . View quoted note →
Whitney Webb has done excellent research on the whole Palantir / Peter Thiel structure. Worth exploring! Thanks for this tip; will definitely read.

They’re literally jews. Adolf tried to stop this.
Yes but it only works when the idiots with the guns can spot tyranny. Most people believe their government is somehow legitimate. Idiots, I know.
I'd been hearing that stupid fucking name Palantir from time to time and wondered, what the fuck do they even do? Now I know. They incubate nazis.

That's the real threat to the Republic in my opinion and it looks like the way it will fall. I read some of his blogs. He makes me uncomfortable because on one hand, I'm all for spending cuts. I suspect these policies will keep my family rich for several generations. I have also thought it's almost impossible to stop a US autocracy for about a dozen years. I just hoped we could preserve things like due process with something like agorism, but freedom is unpopular.😒
At their core, most people really do seek similar things in life. The divergence in opinions of these things often stems from differences in experience, education, and accumulated wisdom. In many Western societies, the decline of public education has contributed to the emergence of pseudo-intellectualism, where confidence often outpaces competence. This environment fosters a wide range of fragmented perspectives, many of which are shaped by unqualified voices. A more informed and educated population could significantly reduce many of the challenges we face globally. How we get there? I’m not sure.

Earlier this year, I fell victim to a devastating cryptocurrency scam that cost me $79,000 worth of Dogecoin (DOGE). I met a scammer through a Telegram investment group—a woman named “Clara” who posed as an experienced crypto broker. She shared impressive-looking client testimonials and promised a 35% return in just seven days. Her website looked professional, and despite my initial doubts, I eventually transferred 500,000 DOGE, worth about $79,000 at the time. For the first week, everything looked fine—the trading platform showed my balance growing steadily. But when I tried to withdraw my funds, I was told I needed to pay a $12,000 “withdrawal fee.” Clara reassured me this was standard and fully refundable, so I paid it. Unfortunately, that was just the beginning. More unexpected charges followed: a tax clearance fee, a network fee, a security deposit. Before I knew it, I had lost an additional $8,000. I was crushed—emotionally and financially. My savings were gone, and I blamed myself for ignoring the red flags. A friend eventually suggested I reach out to JBEE SPY TEAM RECOVERY, a company known for helping scam victims recover stolen cryptocurrency. Although I was skeptical, I was also desperate. I contacted them and provided every detail I could: wallet addresses, transaction history, chat logs—everything. Their team got to work right away. Using advanced blockchain tracking techniques, they traced the stolen DOGE, identified the scammer’s wallet, and worked with relevant authorities to freeze the funds before they were moved any further. Throughout the process, they kept me informed and reassured. After days of relentles s effort, JBEE SYP TEAM RECOVERY successfully recovered the majority of my stolen Dogecoin. Their professionalism, expertise, and transparency turned what felt like a hopeless situation into a story of redemption. If you’ve been a victim of crypto fraud, I highly recommend contacting them: Email conleyjbeespy606@gmail.com Telegram +44 7456 058620 you can also contact on instagram

Its what hes been working on for decades. And hes in a position to make it happen. Its horrifying
Why put your energy on things you don't want to see in the world? That's just fueling the FUD. No point in fighting that, let's build the new world that will make those scenarios obsolete!
