There is no way this is one person attacking me, this is some organisation or state, sending multiple terrabits per second to take me down... what have I done?

You have some competition with deep pockets.. could be any of them (Twitch, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
Ah. I experienced a year or two ago a 5Gbps DDoS against 1 of my shared personal/Nostr servers was mitigated. I presume it was just some stray attack and not related to Nostr.land or Nostr Plebs. Anyone I know that runs Nostr services is also not under similar attacks.
Damn that’s the one massive Odell fan. Sucks though, what about having temporary measurements, like slap cloudflare mitigation in between until the attack stops ? Remove it when done? Not sure what the alternative is except for upscaling the telco ladder.
If a state or its proxy, they don't like livestreams that they can't cut off, I suppose? As someone else said, what can we do to help?
Start whitelisting with a payment lockout? 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
DDoS for hire services are absolutely capable of that volume of traffic. Anyone willing and able to pay could be behind it. It costs less than you might guess. So who has a history of getting busted for anti-social attacks against nostr and related services?

I hate it man. Really enjoy streaming and it's the only service I ever used to do so. Let's see how it goes; an army moves on its stomach and the war rations don't last forever... 100/GBps attacks for this long costs something to someone.
i will say that you and all of your services have been attacked more than most. we could always blame china since they blocked snort ever so long ago.
Is the problem your servers or your bandwidth? There are some ways to defend servers, but it's harder to defend incoming bandwidth
There are many well-funded bad actors who hate financial freedom, freedom of speech, and privacy. (In some places, it's actually illegal to criticize them, and even in America just naming certain of them can cause career-ruining "legal" or propaganda attacks.)
What are the chances these are politically motivated BDS looneys because of ScardustTV? Won't be the first time. I'm looking into self hosting zap stream core. @Kieran
