Today I threw a 2000-line prompt (with reference code) at Shakespeare using GPT Pro. It cost about $20 before I stopped. I thought more would be better. Still early...
Most of it was a reference implementation in Go. I don't think the size of the prompt was the problem, but rather that I wanted too many features at once. I think I need to make a better phase plan. Then I'll try again with a cheaper model.
I tend to shoot it one sentence at a time as prompts these days… it’s can do a lot with that and then I keep messing with the idea… depends on personal preference. I also use Haiku because it’s dirt cheap and pretty solid. If I want to get serious, I can swap back to Opus.
