Had issues with my Jade, couldn’t open it. I entered a 6 number pin on my computer, device not connected, and I drained my wallet. Seems to me that should have not been possible, if it was a proper hardware wallet.

yeah multisig seems fun
but a lot more to backup
and harder to recover by relatives
you can do this and use the jade to verify your public addresses every time you recieve/withdraw from exchange.
also helps for a quick test to memorize your seed (still keep a backup even if you memorize cuz you might get bonked on the head or OD on copium during the next bear market and become braindead).

yes the fees are higher with multisig, but i think they fixed a lot with taproot i guess and now it isnt that high anymore !?

The safest place for your bitcoin wallet pass phrase is in your brain and if you wanna leave it to somebody, tell them just before you die or better yet let’s consider it a donation to everyone if you just take it with you.
