Let’s go! Counter ocean shit show. show them how it should have started. And probably do not need $6mil of jacks money. If your action speak louder that words people will follow.
Not yet but they're working towards it, which will make this entire debate moot as miners will then be able to construct their own block template regardless of the pool's transaction filtering parameters.
Censorship is targeted, filtering is not. They did not target Samurai specifically or even all coinjoin transactions more generally.

This is the moment! For years the narrative was they had no issue with Bitcoin, that it wasn’t a security, that their concerns were about protecting innocents from fraud. But that narrative was the fraud - Warren and her ilk understand Bitcoin better than they were given credit for, and that’s why they’re coming after it. They don’t give a damn about Dogecoin, Shib Inu, whatever. Sturdy yourselves, this has just started.
What did I get wrong? There are other coinjoin services whose transactions don't use OP_RETURN at all and get mined just fine. You cannot say that the filter is targeted specifically at coinjoins, because it clearly isn't.
Man, I would love to be able to find a pool that allows Lightning withdrawals for the people like me with 1-2 small miners...
Yeah, it's all subjective. Matt is getting carried away with this stuff & it's not going to look good in the end. Mining pools have their own rules & Matt gets irate about it. NVK has a much more rational view on this imo.
Took a break from social media for a while. Looks like all caps Odell is back! What happened!?!?😂
Yes. More pools! We need more options that offer privacy, decentralization-forcing incentives/protocols like SV2, fair/transparent payouts. I'd love to see this built in a way that also works for pleb miners heating at home where miners aren't on all the time. This has potential to be a huge market in the future and could represent a large portion of hashrate. Glad to see this conversation gaining traction.

Nice! Lightning payouts for the #homemining plebs, please! 🙏 🫂
If I could code I would write a #poolroulette script to switch pools based on their likelihood to mine a the most blocks in a 10 block period. Maybe I should call it #hashroulette and make #poolroulette a betting site where you can bet on who mines the next block. Any takers. 😉🙈
