I started a side hustle with my wife putting on monthly feasts. We have put bitcoin right at the heart of our business. It has been such a great platform for orange pilling. Getting people to eat great food and enjoy them selves. They see us living the bitcoin values and it makes them curious. Some good conversations have come out of it.
That’s fair. It’s hugely subjective. It’s my money. But for fairness I like freedom family faith food fun funk and other things that don’t begin with F. Just let me know what it is and what you’re doing and what the money is for and zaps are coming
I built a paywalled article bypass browser extension, an adult content blocking extension, and working on a kid friendly browser with built-in parental controls. Funds would go towards a new ln node since my rsbp4 is currently hyperventilating 🫡

Mmmmm .. is this a fed ploy? 🤨🤔😂 Either way, it’s a fun excuse to reminisce about the highlights of 2024. Let's see... This year was a solid one. My company’s top goalies had an incredible year—both were nominated to Team Canada for the Four Nations Faceoff, with one making the final roster. We’re confident they’ll both represent Canada at the upcoming Olympics. We've experienced them both winning the Stanley Cup. Gold at the Olympics would be the obvious next step. My business partner and I had the honor of being invited to Korea to work with their national team goalies and rising youth players, last June. It was an unforgettable experience, and I can’t wait to go back next summer. One of my favorite up-and-comers broke every franchise record for the Wenatchee Wild (WHL) and earned a full scholarship to a top NCAA D1 program. We’re incredibly proud of him. He’s worked relentlessly for this opportunity and truly deserves every bit of success. It’s been an honor to be part of his journey. I’m also proud of a community goalie who, just a year ago, I would have considered soft and a complete pretender. This year, he’s undergone an incredible transformation. He’s now one of the hardest-working goalies I work with and a great leader to his younger peers. While he may never play pro hockey, I have no doubt he’ll be an exceptional person. Watching him grow into a young man has been deeply rewarding. On the personal front, my wife and I have grown closer than ever this year. Our relationship is stronger, and we’ve both become better at understanding each other’s perspectives—her feelings and my thought process. It’s been a really meaningful evolution. My mother moving in with us was a challenge—it wasn’t a smooth transition for either of us. But through the difficulties, we’ve grown closer, and for that, I’m grateful. The passing of my nonna in the spring was the saddest moment of the year. However, planning her funeral and reconnecting with my family from Québec for the first time in over a decade brought about new perspectives and growth for me. While her passing was deeply sad, it reminded me of the importance of family. I’m forever grateful to her for what she gave me in life—and even in her passing. On the professional side, I’ve been working on building a new company focused on online education for goalies. It’s been a huge undertaking but incredibly rewarding. Along the way, I’ve met some amazing, passionate people who excel at what they do. It’s been inspiring to collaborate with them. I’ve also been writing a goalie development book that lays out the foundational theory of how I conceptualize the position. I’m thinking of sharing the first 30 draft pages on Nostr over the holidays. Interestingly, the layered approach I use to teach goaltending feels oddly similar to how Bitcoin operates. So, that’s been my year—strengthening my relationships with my wife and family, developing the best goalies in the country and around the world, launching an online education company, writing a book, and other stuff. Needless to say, Bitcoin and Nostr have been incredible partners in this journey. Bitcoin, for the reasons we all know. Nostr, because of the amazing people I've grown to appreciate being part of my life, even if we've never met IRL. 2024 was a good year. I look forward to 2025.

Great idea, I want to do this as well. Incentives, proof of work and novel technology.
I would if I had it done but it is still very much WIP. Forking and porting Vue/Nuxt bitcoin-only.com backend code to Hugo and relaunching under my maintenance. Currently issues on repository remain there for months...
Could you send some sats to @primal?! Any contribution to the advancement of technology and improvement of the network is welcome! I believe they have a lot of competence in using these resources for all of us.
Ok, you're getting somethin. I'll be dispersing tomorrow over coffee in the morning (ETC time). DM me so I remember since my post offering free money was unusually subscribed Ive got lots of people responding, but this is really cool. God bless you
I'm making this Christmas extra special for really close friends of mine and their two boys. Took my friend shopping for gifts for his kids and paid for them. Feels good to do good to others. ❤️
I'm putting together care packages for the homeless. So far I have emergency blankets, still need toiletries and snacks and boxes to hand them. Making them look like presents.
I'll give it a shot. WIP - work in progress, haha. Forking means copying someone's repository, - repository is kind of a library that contains all folders and files a specific project needs to function and can apply new patches onto it, no restrictions since it is now _your_ copy of such original piece of software. Porting as in migrating from Vue/Nuxt to Hugo - more on that here: https://nuxt.com/docs/getting-started/introduction and Hugo here: Maintenance simply means I'd be taking care of open issues and pull requests in the repository so that old resources get edited or removed accordingly. Cheers. Note: You can see my fork with a couple commits already, here:
I use Nostr daily, I have started a new South Beach Meetup on the third Wednesday of every month, I am also on the board of a new nonprofit down here in the Miami area for Bitcoin education. And I have many goals this year to document the culture of Bitcoin like my fashion report the Bitcoin shoe report and the Bitcoin swag report.
I’m just a small fish here in this big pond and it just felt good thank you
My wife wants to go back to England sometime because she doesn't like free speech apparently, but maybe we'll try to hit your feast If I give you money I want to eat your food. You have to let me cook a side dish though. As a Sicilian American Im not legally allowed to be in a kitchen unless I am cooking something.
