Brother, I have lived with this sort of burden for two decades. All I desire is to retire and head to Thailand and set up a small restaurant on the beach. But I've accepted - doubly so of late - my unique place in the US-China "dialogue" and spend every day working behind the scenes to prevent what may end up being inevitable. Too often it feels like shoveling shit into the sea.
But then again I'm a raging optimist.

I wanted to believe that Saylor's comments on Bitcoin not being an MoE was just a matter of fact statement that liquidity in the value of bitcoin going up, establishing it as a store of valhe, would just help adoption as an MoE in the future.
But the value of the peso being less valuable than the dollar doesn't stop Mexico from using it as their currency. Should anyone need to consult a chart on Trading View or ask Saylor or even a government permission to use a permissionless/freedom money?
The "digital gold" narrarive just seems arbitrary. His wanting to apparently corner the market on development, assuming that's true, makes his comments on bitcoin's use as an MoE seem far less "matter of fact" and more matter of motive. Like he wants bitcoin to stop at just being a store of value and not a means of exchange. That possibly makes him as much of an enemy of bitcoin as anyone else. Or if not an enemy of bitcoin then an enemy of anyone not bitcoin-rich enough to transact on the layer 1 in the future.

Siemplemente es una mejor forma de vislumbrar la dirección argumental y Narrativa en el debate de la posibilidad de adopción masiva de Bitcoin
Estamos conscientes que la capa 1 hace inviable las micro transacciónes a largo plazo
y que las L2 deben superar dificultades de Seguridad, Privacidad y Escalabilidad,
No sabemos si Lightning Network será la solución definitiva,
Lo que si creo es que si la Narrativa de Bitcoin solo como RESERVA de VALOR se impone, no solucionaremos el problema del buen dinero,
Por lo expuesto, creo que las monedas Fiat al final serán necesarias para ser usadas como unidad de cuenta,
Bitcoin viene a ponerlas en cintura, eventualmente la que no respete la filosofía de Bitcoin será descartada,
Si los Estados - Bancos Centrales se niegan a hacer que sus monedas Fiat respeten al menos no devaluar el valor, emergerán, como lo están haciendo otros servicios de UNIDADES de CUENTA de banca privada servicios financieros o Fintech, que respeten la filosofía de Bitcoin
Finalmente Creo que la adopción masiva pasará cuando nos adaptemos a Normalizar el establecimiento de precios en la Unidad de Cuenta de tu preferencia y uses a Bitcoin como Medio de intercambio y reserva de valor.

Bitcoin will always be inferior as MoE due to mining fees incurred in every transaction.
Creating a MoE is not difficult, you can go to any concert and you’ll receive some kind of “currency” that you can only spend in the shops at the event and therefore act MoE.
The breakthrough is the creation of a superior store of value.
Bitcoin will succeed as the store of value backing more efficient MoE.
