Fountain uses rss aggregator for showing / linking to podcast.
To be 'on Fountain' the owner of the podcast needs to open up a fountain LN wallet and claim their show (by inserting a small proof of ownership in their rss feed) to be able to receive the glorious sats.

There is no Nostr source, each software is completely independent from the others. Nostr is just a loose set of idioms they use to talk to each other. The NIPs are just documentation on the specific idioms used that exist to allow new people to write new interoperable software.

You don't underatand how protocols work. Anyone can fork the standard and improve it if they can't get a nip through. It does not require consensus like bitcoin does.
Clients have to be able to understand the rules , that's all.
Is that what causes the inconsistencies? If I hop on my account, the dates, time, follows have changed slightly. Is it because I've moved to a different Nostr relay and the operability of the server is different (eg slower or further away physically) from the last server I was on?

When people have to beat others to survive they will do anything.
If the dominating powers lose their upper hand, they will be emprisoned and made poor.
If the US government loses its upper hand, its enemies will enslave americans just as americans enslave the rest of the world or simply bomb them and let them die of thirst after taking their water.
Humanity must realize our collaborative nature and embrace it by educating about human needs (among which freedom is one) and working to meet those of every human being whether friend or foe.
It is important to realize that concentration of money trumps all other decentralization efforts. If few people control most of the world's money and money can buy anything because people need money to live, then power is still centralized even if the protocols are not.
What are your thoughts on Dr Shiva exposing the censorship infrastructure in 2020 through his lawsuit against your former company and none of these people here said anything until recently when it became too blatant to hide.
