I now have three relays you can use depending on your use case:
Private relay for yourself or a team: GitHub.com/bitvora/team-relay
Relay for everyone you follow:
GitHub.com/bitvora/fren-relay
Relay for everyone in your WoT:
GitHub.com/bitvora/wot-relay

Those with utxos I said
TY π€
lemme know when you have some time for a walkthrough ππ₯
Yeah my b I only got it working like 30 mins ago lol. In like an hour I can
Saylesssssss ima get blasted then π«‘
@Cody what about adding WOT to ur relay?
Legit!
How can I get timely updates on the followers of the people I follow if they havenβt joined my relay? π€
how can an ignorant like myself use this with my friends? id have to follow the readme steps but then what? or not really feasible? if at some point i need to 'proxy' something probably too much for me.
It's not really that feasible unless you're already a server guy
thank you, awesome to see the work !
Noob question about relays. Can a note be send to one relay only, and not be spread through other relays. So only users that are connected to that relay see the notes?
If so, any guide to built one would be higly appreciated.
I love that the relay guys are coming onboard with providing different relays for different use cases.

You can choose to send to only that relay, and then only those who have read permissions from that relay will be able to view it, but there is currently no way to prevent them from rebroadcasting out to other relays that I am aware of.
Not sure I will use any of these, except as a DM relay, since I still want to be able to greet new folks who aren't part of anyone's WoT yet, but very grateful that you set them up, regardless!
Want me to set it up for you and your friends? I'm a "server guy"
What client do you do that with?
#Amethyst would be the best client I know of for on-the-fly relay selection on a per-post basis.
How does team-relay manages who is part of the team?
π―
...holy shit I've never tapped that icon in the top middle.... Who knew?! @Vitor Pamplona you gotta improve the UI on that element lol. I've been thinking wanting a client that allows relay selection on notes for months and I didn't know I've been using one all along!
How does the private relay work (as a non-dev)?
It only allows you (or anyone on your NIP05 domains) to post, but anyone to read
Got it. Is there any way to configure a relay so that only βapprovedβ npubs (or users with a given NIP-05 domain) can read, as well?
I can add that feature if you want it
Definitely interested! Questions:
1) is this a hosted relay service that a company or group can purchase from you? Or are you publishing how to do it for those who wish to set up their own?
2) if the former, is this something thatβs already available? I was involved a conversation recently about exactly this - thus my questions
3) how secure/private would the relayβs content be? Would it basically depend on the relay-operator maintaining best practices, or [β¦]?
4) am I picturing this correctly: nostr users who have βcompany accessβ would add this relay, and then see their business content in their go-to Nostr clientsβ Following feeds?
5) A more general question, but Iβm m wonderingβ¦ are there any clients yet that allow you to filter your following feed by relay? Iβm envisioning a client that effectively replaces sms, email, slack, social, all at once, where you could simply filter to the relay that serves the specific type of content youβre looking forβ¦ and perhaps could even display different UX for different relays. Maybe this is βcommunitiesβ? Havenβt tested π€
I mean shit if this doesnβt exist it sounds incredibly promising. Iβm starting to wish I could code and literally go build it now, because I really want to see this in action π€―π«
