The other option is to say say fuck the government like the founding fathers did, then defend the only borders that matter: the ones around your property. If everyone just worried about protecting their own property, illegals wouldn’t have anywhere to go to. They come here because this government gives them resources: housing, healthcare, food stamps. the question becomes: does The State somehow have a legitimate claim to the entire physical territory it says belongs to it? (in which case, we'd be sort of "tenants" residing under an agreement, and breaking that agreement or plotting to undermine it would be morally problematic)

Your ideal scenario is not coming. You have to deal with a Bolshevik plan to steal your country from you. You can face it or cower. Rationalizing that it is not ideal is the same as the latrer.
I’m not necessarily against deportations. The issue I have is that they’re being used as a justification to shoehorn in expanded surveillance and federal state control.
There are really two coherent options.
Maintain socialist programs and enforce tight borders (including deportations)
or
Abolish social programs entirely and limit the state to enforcing property rights
It seems Americans want the first option, to keep the social programs and adopt a hard-border approach. That’s fine with me, if that's what people want, although I prefer option 2.
The problem is that this choice now comes bundled with the very things the right claimed to oppose during COVID, like papers-please compliance, mobility restrictions, and normalized surveillance.
That contradiction is what’s hard to ignore.
And that’s what makes them hypocrites. That’s why I called it out. Americans already pay nearly 50% tax, we don’t need to give them more things to tax us for. Because they will manufacture more things to tax us for. They made the immigration problem.
Almost the only job the limited (small) federal government has is national security of The People.
When states are in the business of harboring criminals as their payed thugs and voter base then they should be removed by the federal government.

There will be two major changes to the world in a very short period of time.
1. Removal of the Federal Reserve and it's debt control system on The People.
2. The currency will also change.
The countries around the world will revert to original currencies before the Bankers took over.
Trade routes will be much more organic than controlled for wealth redistributions of regions.
Think of it more of a meritocracy rather than the old fascism (crony-capitalism at best) the Bankers created to rule The People with debt.
