Kind of want to run a damus fedimint and/or LSP and integrate a non-custodial mutiny-like wallet into damus clients.

as much as i admire your efforts to keep a bridge to the apple cultists... seriously i don't think you all have any real idea how corrupt this shit has got 3 years ago it was easy to discover that linus torvalds was a model for kinder surprise if you find stuff about that now, please reply to this reply but more generally, things are not what you all were led to believe, things are very very toxic
I completely get this. The only downside I would see from this is the regulatory uncertainty with regards to holding (even miniscule) funds in custody.
This is probably the best possible way to do custody. Temporarily until the user’s app comes online. Would be surprised if there would be legal concerns around this approach.
I completely agree with you, but depending on the jurisdiction it could still pose challenges. This is why most of the LSP’s are very adamant about never being in custody of any funds.
Everything is allowed, so everything will be tried. We'll get to see the outcomes of many different experiments. No centralized platform can compete with that. Nostr users will have an insane number of options to choose from. 🍿🍿🍿 View quoted note →
Thats not what the issue says. I havw your same bias. I believe he is concerned with running more software om his node. I am curious about the trade offs he desires to implement a new fedimimt client communication method.
Kinda have been waiting for months for Damus to implement that, and to open the wallet by pressing the Damus logo. image
