Via bunker.
Agreed
I don't 👀
But also there's keychat or something that has a browser built in supporting nip07
we dont. we use amethyst.
I like amber. Or I just paste in my next like a mad man. 💪
Nsec bunker
nsec*
Web nostr apps are mostly not usefull 😢 I stick with #amethyst
IronFox

to be fair I mostly do the same (stick with damus) but sometimes it's nice to peruse the other stuff. looks like we've been spoiled on iOS with Safari extensions, like signing and highlighting things on the web
So THAT'S the problem bunker solves. Tried Kiwi browser for this but extensions still didn't work right.
amber(nip-55), nowser,keychat,fedi
In my case web app only with NPUB and apps with amber, nowser
We use @Citrine.
you shouldn't need to install other apps to use nostr apps. hopefully we can solve this with our nostr browser, at least in a small way for now.
Amethyst only on my android. I use the web apps on my desktop.
i also want to highlight websites on my phone like I can on Safari :(
they don't? no, i think there is at least ways to use a signer like #citrine tho, never tried though. that's the main thing you need
Firefox
don't most people use chrome on Android tho
@Amber works for websites too, but many don't implement it.
There's Kiwi browser that has extensions.
Firefox
Amber.
Never on the Web!! But @Citrine i like to stand up and move arround when i play with apps . I liked badges.page are you making a badge or something for damus android users ?
i use brave, which is the same, but less spooky
we could make a notedeck app for that. then you could use damus Android as the signer
I guess but you can use another browser for sites that need extensions
Kiwi browser allows you to install chrome extensions
i think for individuals that's great, but I like to think in terms of serving the most people and the types of apps they use, so we can scale nostr to a wider market
@Keychat does this nicely. Not sure what browser engine it uses under the hood?
Outside of that, Amber bunker works nicely too.
Keychat uses the OS WebView for it's browser. The Android OS webview is Chromium based.

Keychat is the super app for Bitcoiners. Autonomous IDs, Bitcoin ecash wallet, secure chat, and rich mini apps — all in Keychat. Autonomy. Securi...
Quetta
I find Amber (a nostr signer available on the Zap store) works great for controlling sign ins
Waiting for #damus android I hope it compatible to other nostr protocol platforms like #amethyst
On GrapheneOS, webview is Vanadium browser based. No invasive Google spyware.
No. Why would a bitcoiner even consider using chrome? To use the centralized authority on whats www?
TIL that nostr users have to be bitcoiners
Unlike on desktop, where the Nostr ID is a browser extension, in Keychat, the browser (WebView) is an extension of the ID and BTC wallet.
nice
Vanadium is Chromium based but with a lot of security and privacy changes. Because Vanadium is also the OS WebView you can run apps using WebView in a safer fashion, they benefit from such features:
Also a control for WebView JIT per app to reduce a large JS JIT attack surface for them. Our PDF viewer is an example of a WebView app.

fennec firefox amber
PWA?
People use web apps on their phone!?!?
Keychat or a flavor of mozilla like fennec
There is an android app called Amber. It's a nostr remote signer or nsec bunker, that stores your key remotely. I installed it from zap.store and now I am using it for almost all of my nostr log ins.
Kiwi browser
😄 Using #nowser as a nostr browser or as a remote signer.
