I’ve been working on #COMBATRIG for the past month or so, and it’s finally getting to the point where I’m excited to start sharing it more.
This link is a #Nostr event that is itself a procedurally generated #MechWarrior -style mission for COMBATRIG.
The goal is to make single-player, co-op, and eventually multiplayer missions easy to generate, share, and play together, either anonymously or using your own Nostr identity.
The core game mechanics are now in place, and I feel like the gameplay is getting pretty solid. I’m planning to freeze major features for a bit and spend the next few weeks polishing gameplay, fixing visual bugs, and improving the overall experience.
It works on mobile, but it isn’t optimized for it yet. Desktop is recommended. WebGPU is also recommended for mission generation and AI voiced briefings.
Check out this mission:
Extract data from a downed Rig, then destroy it before the enemy can recover it.

(hint: Pathfinder is ugly but it's the most OP Rig in the game right now)
Also you can use tilde key for console commands like "noclip" or "god" for godmode if you grew up playing Source games like me. There is also time of day with "hour 12" or "hour 24" and everything in between.
