Eat meat, eggs, dairy, animal fats, and green veggies (if desired or not at all) and no calorie counter needed. Calorie counting is a fiat scam that will leave you constantly hungry, under nourished, and on an impossible to manage diet into the future. Don’t fall for this trap like I did many years ago.

I have been full strict carnivore, keto and everything between. I know cico is not black and white but I have had most success with carnivore-ish plus taking a bit more notice of calories. Historically, I never seem to reach my body comp goals....was going to give it a bit more of a good go this year and use nost for a bit of accountability. Thanks nostr:nprofile1qqs0fkyh0y2genfytjx4py229p8avtvhev8mdzme0fc0yjsh9dfzmwgpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhsz9mhwden5te0wfjkccte9ec8y6tdv9kzumn9wshszythwden5te0dehhxarj9emkjmn99ujder3x for the #asknostr thing👍

Yeah eating more meat is a useful tool to help feel more full, but you can absolutely be in a caloric surplus eating those foods. Counting calories is not FiAt, despite what they say. Don’t listen to any idiot trying to peddle you that nonsense.

You’re 100% wrong. I’m living proof along with countless other millions. Your body stops you when you’re full eating those foods. Only way you’ll gain weight is if you’re a vegan or starving yourself by counting calories and under eating. Calorie counting is a total scam. Ball don’t lie as the saying goes.

No dude, you and the millions of others are living proof that it is possible to eat in a caloric deficit (or maintenance) in spite of the fact that you don’t count calories, not that there is something magic about those foods that waves away thermodynamics.

Pure carnivore is hard esp with a family. It's the consistency that is hard for me plus I'm not getting any younger! I've always tended to have many fitness goals (which is never a good idea) this time getting the timber off is THE only goal. I have Achilles problems as well and carrying this extra is certainly not helping. I need to do some sums but I prob need to lose around 10kg of fat.

It’s hard in any family, man. It’s a choice you gotta make and be disciplined to follow through on. I am made fun of incessantly in my family despite being in the best shape of anyone, by far. After about 90 days, your body doesn’t even want the garbage anymore. Commit to it, do it, the 22 lbs will come off, and you’ll feel incredible. I’m in better shape at 41 than I was at 25 and I work out half as much. It is a total game changer. Don’t starve yourself and count calories. You will be miserable. Eat meat, eggs, and dairy cooked in animal fats until full. It’s the dietary cheat code like Bitcoin is the monetary cheat code.
