There was a time where I thought (from the gurus) that calories don't matter if all you eat is meat and fat. I think there is some truth in this as satiety is high and it's more difficult to over eat.... But, I never had great success.

Yeah eating more meat is a useful tool to help feel more full, but you can absolutely be in a caloric surplus eating those foods. Counting calories is not FiAt, despite what they say. Don’t listen to any idiot trying to peddle you that nonsense.
