Looked up at a different tree and there was another owl. I thought, that’s weird and took a video of it and talked to it for a bit. Kept walking and saw another owl on a tree ahead of me. Immediately realized what was happening. It was the same owl and since it flies silently I didn’t realize it was following me. Then it dove at my face with talons out. I dropped to the ground, broke my phone and sprained my wrist. Got up and started running and it took another pass at the back of my head. I didn’t stop to look back.
