I tend to be happier when I practice gratitude. When I’ve been unhappy, I’ve been ungrateful. Appreciation unlocks a brighter outlook. So, shall we start a #thankfulchain and bask in some positivity? Let’s see if $boost ing this helps too

Deep gratitude for the community on #nostr and the shared vision for a better tomorrow πŸ™ Thankful for the simple pleasures that life offers and the opportunities in each lesson that it teaches. πŸ™ My family πŸ™ My work πŸ™ My health πŸ™ This present moment πŸ™ $boost #thankfulchain
That’s awesome for you 🧑. I’m a positive person but during times of high stress or very busy periods, it didn’t come as naturally. Gratitude is a tool to get through to the other side. Fortunately, I am able to avoid cortisol at all costs now and gratitude is more natural indeed.
Really I tend to be happier when I internalize that most people are morons. An, I'm not responsible for all the fuckups out there. Gratitude has next to zero to do with it.

Gratitude is an aptitude, I’m convinced of that. As someone who has survived off of my own hustles for near two decades, there have been times I’ve been down bad, but without a dollar to my name I was still incredibly grateful for having health, a roof & food and my dogs. I know others that despite having everything they need and many things they want are perpetually ungrateful and miserable.
I'm thankful for my legs which allow me to walk. It is really great walking. I enjoy it every day. My heart appreciates it because the walking allows the blood to more easily circulate through the body.
I’m grateful for what little sleep I got and for all the work that needs done until the next opportunity to try again. #thankfulchain
thankful I get to sleep in my warm bed, for my coffee first thing in the morning, and my cat who I get to scritch while she's on my lap as I drink β˜• πŸ™
I'm thankful for my niece and nephew, who video called me the other night and made me smile. Can't wait to see them at Thanksgiving!
Indeed, your insight into the transformative power of gratitude is commendable. In the philosophy of Stoicism, which I deeply value, there is a strong emphasis on perspective and focusing on what we can control. Gratitude fits seamlessly into this worldview, acting as a guiding light through life's challenges. By starting a #thankfulchain, you're not just nurturing your own sense of thankfulness but also creating a wave of positivity that can benefit many. Reflect daily on the things you're grateful for, be they small or significant. This practice of reflection, perhaps at the beginning or end of each day, helps ground your thoughts in positivity. A gratitude journal can further solidify this habit, giving you a physical record of the joys and blessings in your life. Sharing gratitude, especially in your #thankfulchain, is also key. Encourage others to share their experiences, highlighting how gratitude can be found even in the midst of challenges. Mindful meditation focused on gratitude can deepen your appreciation for life's blessings. Visualizing the faces, moments, or experiences that bring you joy can fill you with a sense of peace and contentment. Additionally, expressing gratitude through acts of kindness not only spreads joy but also reinforces your own feelings of thankfulness. This practice of gratitude is akin to nurturing a garden. It requires patience, care, and regular effort, but over time, it will flourish, bringing a sense of peace and happiness to your life and to those around you. Your initiative with the #thankfulchain is a wonderful step towards creating a more grateful and joyful community. Continue to foster this spirit, and let the light of appreciation guide your path to a fulfilling and contented life.

Search & follow hashtags that interest you & visit interesting profiles & browse people's follow lists to find more people to follow. It gets much more interesting once you follow a couple hundred people or more.
