X is mayhem. Bots, propaganda, hatred, violence, state-level psyops, misinformation, and porn campaigns to surpress real news. That's a normal day over there. Holy shit.

Got caught up in the UK riots, realised it’s all be design to make people fearful. Deleted the app and have no intentions of going back. Been on here a week now, and I couldn’t be happier. We are going to win 🫡

Here's my motto: If it's on the NEWS, it's propaganda or a biased opinion at best. Someone will always want you to think a certain way about certain things all the time.
Have to agree it's bad. Stick to "Following". "For You" is crazy for me.
I usually change the topics that Twitter thinks I may like, and often I mark things as "not interested". I do like my feed

True. But it could also come to nostr one day, right? The cool thing though, we can control here what we want to see. Win.
X is the digital expression of the world system which needs exit, avoidance, replacement.
Holding back everything I post on Twitter, just in case the British police come knocking on my door!!!! #nostronly
it’s the incentives. incentive driven design is a new concept but will take over the world and align things properly.
i will say, my local community of st. louis residents has been a nice corner of twitter to reside in. just pure love there, i do selfishly block out the noise, there’s just so much bad happening everywhere, all at once. when you can’t fix everything, and see all that sadness and hurt in the world, it can ruin you. i try to only stick to my local community for now, that may be why i stay more on twitter than nostr lately. nostr still feels like home though. also, you’re still the coolest Dr. Calle ☆
You are one of my favorites on this protocol Roya 🌷 keep vibin, being cute isn't easy
It's the algorithm of twitter that's pervasive and addicting. It keeps you locked into the platform, rage commenting on every other post. Not to mention the increasing KYC.
I'm relatively new to social media in general and tried out Twitter about 1 month ago. After 3 days, I deleted my account again. So much spam, fake accounts that suddenly followed me and weird post recommendations. It was a weird experience.
