The way i read it: its ok if CCP collects US user data and make a profit from it as long as Trump and his cronies get half. In Tramp-land it will be legal to Zap anyone in the world (even to Iran) tax free as long as 50% goes to Trumps Lightning wallet. 👍

We don't need no stinking permits! We are NOSTR and we are legion 😁
What is Facism? Fascism is a far-right, authoritarian, and nationalist ideology that emphasizes the supremacy of the state and the subordination of individual rights to the collective interests of the nation. It is characterized by a centralized government, suppression of opposition, and often, a dictatorial leader. Key elements of fascism include: 1. **Authoritarianism**: Fascist regimes are marked by a strong, centralized authority that seeks to control all aspects of society. 2. **Nationalism**: Fascism emphasizes the importance of national identity and often promotes an aggressive form of nationalism that seeks to expand the nation's territory or influence. 3. **Suppression of opposition**: Fascist regimes typically suppress dissent and opposition through censorship, propaganda, and violence. 4. **Militarism**: Fascist regimes often glorify military power and use it to achieve their goals. 5. **Economic intervention**: Fascist regimes may intervene in the economy to promote national interests and control key industries. 6. **Anti-democratic tendencies**: Fascism is often hostile to democratic institutions and values, such as free elections, individual rights, and the rule of law. 7. **Cult of personality**: Fascist leaders often cultivate a cult-like following and promote themselves as infallible leaders. Fascist ideologies have been associated with various historical figures and movements, including Benito Mussolini in Italy, Adolf Hitler in Germany, and Francisco Franco in Spain.
That's fine - We have Nostr! Good-bye Trump! (Sidenote: I'm for a lot of what Trump is doing but holly shit, does he have to be so authoritarian? - the answer is probably yes until we get the garbage cleaned up but this is ridiculous) Does not matter - #Bitcoin going to fix all this.
Well, that's true on the yes men. He would fire anyone that disagrees with him! lol But in all fairness we probably needed an 'authoritarian' at this point to get us back on track. Let's hope he reins it in once we get thing working again. Bukele is the same figure in El Salvador - you needed to clean up the mess. As Maximus says, "I will give you Rome, and you decide what to do with it." Anything less and Trump has failed.

The classic: did you ask for permission from government before doing anything?
Reminds me of how in ancient Rome they would temporarily appoint a dictator, which was a legal office in Rome, in times of crises to fix things.
Yeah good points. As long as there is a government, what is best is a monarch. Unfortunately our empire is so overgrown and gives all the wrong kinds of power to the president, all the wrong incentives, and very few of the good ones, the ones that would tend to allow him to really get things in line, like selling off assets and cutting bureaucracy unilaterally. He can do some of that, but not all. He's using what little management they offer him though.
Trump is like a blind bulldozer driver that bumbles through government, knocking things down. He has the courage to remove dysfunction, but little insight on where it truly lies. He still will manage to demolish a lot in his presidency, and that's an extremely good term in politics, which usually only advances the degeneracy further.
This is why I like crypto anarchy I have no interest in voting for "red free speech" or "blue free speech." Like Eric Hughes wrote, I do not wish to restrict speech at all. I don't like TikTok. I don't like red racism I don't like blue racism. There are even worse things I prefer to not mention, but I wish to preserve an open society. An open society means some people will say shit I don't like, but freedom is not free and this is a small price to pay.

Nostr: “shove your permits where the sun don’t shine”
I got a permit, but I had to give half of Nostr to the United States of America. The other half is already owned by the Federative Republic of Brazil.

In a backwards way, this is good for nostr.

So monarchies, where you had to get a royal letter patent was communism? US Americans are so braindead in how they throw this word around
His logic cannot faulted on this. The value of the permit should be high if it’s worth zero otherwise. 50/50 seems like the reasonable starting point. But that makes a permit-independent platform worth twice as much, because it doesn’t have to share ownership at all.

Oh my goooossshhh. I couldn’t get past 2 seconds. “The big leaders.” Can you imagine feeling like you have to clarify such a thing? “I’m in the room. THE room.”
WTF ... He needs to seriously stay the F away from Ellison. It's almost like there are two Trumps sometimes.

That isn't a bad idea, as long as it wasn't a sociopath politician.

Communism is jewish Satanism forced on the gentiles. Many unnatural things are under its umbrella, but this isn't one.
It's a horrible incentive for the US (or any government) to have a stake in much of anything. Ffs look at the basket case that the fiat dollar is.
Sounds like the American series of dragons den, give us 50% of your business and we’ll help.
**Donald:** *[Takes a seat gracefully]* You've got a nice place here. Honest work. Family business, I presume? **Mr. TikTok:** Yes, been in the family for generations. I'm just trying to keep it running. **Donald:** That's admirable. These days, not everyone understands the value of hard work and tradition. **Mr. TikTok:** Can I offer you something? Coffee, perhaps? **Donald:** No need, thank you. I'm here to talk about a mutual opportunity. **Mr. TikTok:** *[Uncertain]* Opportunity? **Donald:** Yes. You see, the world's changing. Sometimes, unfortunate events happen. Accidents. It's wise to have friends who can make sure those accidents don't affect good folks like yourself. **Mr. TikTok:** I'm not sure I follow. **Donald:** *[Leans in slightly]* Let me be direct. For a mere 50%, my associates and I can ensure that your business remains... uninterrupted. Safe from any mishaps.

What's the value if simply no permit is needed Don?
“Give half to the United States Government”. I guess all free enterprise should just give half their equity to the USG now. Thats a nice plumbing Business you got there. It’s half ours now.
Ok, I thought this was what he was implying but then I thought “no, that can’t be right”. Maybe that is right. Lol
