Aight, gonna try this out. Don't necessarily use lightning much, but need a challenger for my Phoenix Wallet setup.

I wonder if there will be big fees for this when the on chain fees are big
โ€œWhen closing these channels, users are incur less fees and are given more privacy as they appear to like any other Taproot spend when examining their on-chain footprint.โ€ Not quite correct. What you should say is thet under normal conditions taproot channels look like to any other taproot spend. That true whether you are opening or closing the channel. Abnormal conditions, like force closes, do identify the transaction as a lightning channel.
Yes, but most people should expect a cooperative close and the distinction here is that there is a difference here between taproot channels and traditional segwit ones. Segwit will reveal the 2of2 quorum when cooperatively closing the channel.

You can get onboarded with a channel thru ZEUS PAY but you must start with a payment of 50k sats or more
Hadnโ€™t heard of lightspark until the head homie David Marcus was on WBD. No offense to David, he lacks the vision of his direct competitors.

I'll rephrase lol..do you need to run the node on the phone in order to use the wallet or can the wallet just be used by itself?

Developers in this space are absolute beasts!
Downloaded on Android. Had some issues while syncing, the counter was stuck several times so I had to relaunch the app. I noticed my Power Mode was on so turned it off and it fixed it.

There's always a choice. Build something similar and charge the fees yourself to others and use it for free yourself. Pay the fees to others who have built something and using it would make something more convenient for you. Or don't use it.
Phoenix can enable dynamic channel size thanks to their splicing feature developed by ACINQ on LNKMP. Zeus embedded node uses LND as backend & splicing is yet to be developed by LightningLabs. You can open channel to any public nodes. You can also receive LNURL-channel too I'm not sure Zeus can automatically swap onchain sats to LN sats, you can swap the sats to LN using submarine swap lik boltz tho. Note that you can store sats onchain using Zeus SEPARATELY unlike on Phoenix, 2 layers 1 app
Youโ€™ll also trigger a force close of your channels on reinstall so consider manually closing your chans first to save on fees and fund recovery time
What are the specific purpose of built-in nostr nsec there ? To receive nostr notif push whenever users receive pending payment to their LN address ? Anything else?
