It's so funny how the sexual revolution left us with a world in which it's mostly the married people having sex. Turns out, sex being part of marriage was never a legal or theological rule; it was just describing the natural order.

So, my friend, if you're single and feeling left out, maybe it's time to explore other joys in life—like comedy clubs orOdessa's vibrant nightlife!
I fucking hate hippies. That whole Haight Ashbury scene – the San Francisco scene that started it all – lasted no longer than 3 years; rape was endemic and the hippies smoking LSD and marajuana quickly gave way to bikers on amphetamines and coke. Why does the world remember it differently? Hollywood, thats why.
well, the state-sanctioned (and owned) "marriage certificate" that most couples robotically pursue in #thecurrentyear and presume is "how its always been done" (even though its only about a century old in america and a few centuries in the most remote implementations - marriages used to be recorded in the Family Bible as a matter-of-record) ... the problem is not "marriage" , but state-sanctioned marriage with all of its under the surface legal cages and generally emasculating provisions and other nefarious intentions, along with the ridiculous presumption that it, The Beast, imagines itself to be in the position to sanctify such unions... its no coincidence that the Soviets were the first to outlaw anything other than the state sanctioned and certificated marriage, while banning God from the equation, at the same time as they passed the right-to-divorce and all sorts of feminist-oriented codes immediately after gaining power: "The December 1917 decrees and the 1918 RSFSR Family Code went further than anyone before: they gave legal validity only to civil marriage, stripped religious authorities of any registration role entirely, and created the ZAGS registry network. They also pioneered unilateral, no-fault divorce — comparable laws didn't appear in Western Europe or the US until decades later (Encyclopedia.com — 1918 Family Code)."
David gornoski has floated the idea that marriage contracts could be drafted and enforced by the church. I can't remember all the pros and cons, but made me question the assumption--- why in modern society does the state define (redefine) what marriage is and not the church?
No marriage is a contract so people do no fuck up children life when they keep playing irresponsible teenagers. Two people that want to stay together are not required to marry at all.
The idea to have sex to someone I will never meet again is of no interest for me and has never been. There are two possibilities. I like a girl, I want to spend life with her. I do not.. I am not having sex with someone I do not like
One thing I wonder about is if the age of first marriage will eventually decline, again. It's been creeping up and up and up, and the reason given has always been primarily economic (ya gotta "make it" before you "put a ring on it"). But making it has become a more difficult and uncertain task, so why wait? Marriage is the cheaper, more economically-resilient lifestyle. Easier to marry and then try to make it, now that everything costs an arm and a leg and job markets disappear overnight.
I fully expect it to lower somewhat. It isn't just economics. It is also Disney Fairy tales. Culture is pervaded by the idea of "the one true love" and princesses and castles. People spend their 20's chasing a fake set of ideals. But as material goods fail to satisfy and commitment becomes desirable again people will remember that participation in society via raising a family is the whole point, and 9th graders will start working toward that instead of dreaming of a career in finance. Seriously, whose idea of a dream is that?
It was never either of ours. I had this high-powered industry career, when we met (I was 21.) and on our first date, he asked me what my future plans were and I said, "Get married and have kids." And he was like, "Oh, wow. 😳 Ha ha. Whoa. Never heard a woman reply with that... But same. 🥂" Second date, we were already picking out baby names. Our kids have those names. 😂 #TrueStory
Marriage is older than govt. Tens of thousands of years older, most likely. Possibly hundreds of thousands. So do your own ceremony - and don't tell the regime :D
Yes, it's older. It's a sacrament between a man and a woman, with Adam and Eve being the first married couple. You can marry on the down-low (clandestine), but the Catholic Church discourages it in countries where civil marriages are mandated because then you end up in a sort of "shadow" or "second-class" marriage. Lots of Muslims do that, in Germany, and it creates all sorts of legal problems.
FR? Respect to your Muslim immigrants doing that, I hope they inspire others and your regime regrets importing them :D Ours are mostly very compliant, very useless, or both.
