I’m familiar with the tech used here, though DJ Dave is on another level entirely. Check out Tidal Cycles, Supercollider and Sonic Pi - it’s incredible!!

I have been looking for something like this. I used to make music with trackers ages ago. Then i tried "buzz" which was nice but pretty obscure.
Ableton was too overwhelming for me and i never got through the learning curve. It's supposed to be "intuitive" but i never got the hang of it. I was at the verge of this place where i felt comfortable coding and i felt like i would be better off making something that actually looks a lot like this, where you can just program the music. Has a more tracker-ish feeling because there is no "this sounds about right", you can program it in an exact way.
Definitely gonna give this a go!
