Sessions is a great app for both iOS and Mac. I’ve been testing the beta version recently for iOS which is iPad only. One of the new features is the ability to use MIDI plugins to drive your instruments.
The greatest feature though is the continuous recording, captures your spontaneity and you can grab the pieces of audio you wish to keep.

I’ve not been around on here much for some months because of many reasons. Might come back for a bit but just got fed up with social platforms to be honest.
So funny! Many years ago dad and i rescued a mouse from our loft that had survived traps. We drove him about five miles away and freed him in some woodland! I suspect later that night an owl might have had him!

I love this episode as my relatives are buried in the St Enedoc church. I know it so well, Brae hill, Padstow, Rock etc. my great aunt used to run the farm in Trebetherick just opposite the golf course. Fond memories of walking across the golf course, listening out for “fore!” to get to Daymer. Taking friends to the hill as an adult and challenging them to a climb. So steep but the view is fantastic. Spent many evenings as a kid in the hot summer of the 70s watching the sun set, taking a late swim in the sea.

I’m still alive. I know, haven’t posted a thing in Nostr for ages and wanted to share some of the musical stuff I’ve been playing with on the iPad recently.
I’ve not been on here for ages, which I’ll sort out soon lol.
Merry Christmas. Hope you all have a great one and thanks for a great 2025. Thanks for the Sats, support and everything.
Playing around in AUM this evening and came up with this track or sketch as I prefer to call these little performances.

Got out on my feet this morning, to film two very interesting locations for my YouTube channel, which is a separate project to Modulations and RP, the newsletters that to see from profile here on Substack.
The first was to find the confluence of two rivers, the Thames and the Kennet and Avon, a location just outside Reading. The walk took new through an area that was very gritty, edgy, rundown which is often the case where industry once stood tall, now long gone, echoes of the past.
The second was a totally different place, a beautiful church in the heart of Hampshire, that I’ve known for years but have never been inside; until today, it was one of the most fascinating I’d seen.
Now, it’s just a case of editing footage from three different sessions.
GM folks. Discovered a lovely patch on my synth last night. Audio to be shared soon, I recorded it but need to edit it.

GM. How are we all?
GM folks. Been away for a bit. Had enough of feeds lol
GM! Haven’t got that many new photographs to share with you at the moment, so I’ll dig into the archives for a few days until I’ve gathered some more. Harvested new photos as I like to say!
This one was captured in the Surrey hills and I fancied trying something different using the zoom burst technique. I mounted my Sony on a tripod, composed the shot and then quickly turned the focus ring whilst the shutter was open.

Just for the record. If sites such as Bluesky, Spotify etc prompt me to upload my license or do face scanning ,they can fuck off. I will not use them full stop. They track us enough as it is.
If only I knew how maths defines everything around us when I was at school, I’d have taken it more seriously. School was a big let down tbh. Never did they mention the golden ratio, the Mandelbrot or how music is maths. Instead we had to work out, if I had ten quid, bought a sack of potatoes…how much change. FFS.
Playing with loopy pro 2 on the lounge carpet. Linked my Torso T1 to the iPad in order to drive melodies and jammed. Turned out pretty decent, I think.
There be a mighty sunflower down at our daughter’s allotment. It’s a beauty!
