You know that producing hand-knotted rugs is a time-consuming process and requires significant capital. I started my business independently a little over a year ago, and my production volume is still limited. I don’t yet have a large collection to showcase - in fact, almost everything I’ve produced so far has been sold here, and I’ve also received two custom pre-orders. So while having a website can serve as a showcase, I feel I first need to increase my production before I have enough pieces to properly present. At this stage, I’m actually thinking more about possibly accepting an investor - especially to produce Bitcoin-themed rugs that could be exhibited publicly outside the country - rather than building a website, which, considering Iran’s internet speed and the ongoing maintenance costs, could create additional financial pressure for me. That said, if you have any ideas or suggestions, I would truly welcome hearing them.

You can DM me if you get stuck with anything or reach out in their telegram group. There is also npub.pro which will host free website for you to showcase your work so far also built on nostr but looks like a normal website to visitors. If it were me I’d showcase past sold rugs, showcase your process and your story. In many cases people are buying the story behind the rug not the material thing, I’d double down on that. Simple web form for custom orders, can even be sent as dm to you. Netlify has free tier I think for web hosting or GitHub pages.

Pin a note with your last rug and in your profile ask interested parties to dm enquiries. Or a free proton email. Update the pinned note with each new design. Olas is like Instagram as a gallery of your rugs. Nostr,build make a free site of your feed. It's all on Nostr. I once tried importing custom rugs from Nepal, the weaver could make one piece literally any size any design - at 100 knots/inch. The sample was so good and along with the range of custom options, the carpet sellers I approached said I was a BS merchant. That was pre-internet. Definitely need to show the public how you work.
