Hot take: #nostr feels lonely if you expect it to behave like a feed instead of a conversation.

best way to use it. the reply section is what creates the conversation
Reposting is important too, because there is no algo. Although sometimes it does t feel natural to get on a thread ๐Ÿ˜‚ But what you just said is an opportunity that I have been thinking about, you can probably vibecode an app the is conversation first.

๐Ÿ’ฏ itโ€™s a great way to find content to engage with. Yeah, that will always be the case. Havenโ€™t thought about that, but certainly it would be something unique and interesting

oh absolutely but i do think the power you can have both because we need to have all kinds of content in order to both consume and participate
I think OP must be incredibly lucky. Every person I've turned onto nostr leaves for both aspects. First, there is very limited content and hasn't grown much since I originally joined. Second, the get zero returned interaction on content they create or interact with. I don't blame them because I experience the same thing but I'm a glutton for punishment.

youโ€™re right. the combination of limited content and zero interaction makes it hard to get people to stay. i honestly feel the amount of engagement have actually decreased since i joined. i feel like itโ€™s more about content creation and less conversation. i see a lot of people who used to participate in conversations now mainly only posting or reposting things
