where should we send feature requests?
Where can I sign up as affiliate?
@jack
More info on the specific rules would be handy…

> We want to give Bitkey customers easy ways to verify transaction details and other security-critical operations. First up is a software-driven feature we’ll bring to customers mid-year. We’re also evaluating ways to provide even stronger transaction verification with hardware, and an optional cold wallet configuration for customers who don’t mind putting in a little more effort for more security. These are complex projects, and our next step is to publish a technical proposal and solicit feedback – look out for this over the summer.

Always awesome to hear about upcoming innovations in Bitcoin
making bitkey work for the more advanced users too is absolutely the right way to go. really loving the bitkey project
Quick question - Can one manage UTXOs in Bitkey?
What they didn’t inform you upon is that none of it matters if they don’t align with Source.
Up until this very day, they steal and illegally hack my privacy while saying they are privacy and freedom advocates.

Honestly it sounds like I'm getting a bitkey later this year
The biggest problem with Bitkey for me is that Block knows exactly how many sats I store with there device. It makes it where your servers are a honey pot for criminals looking to wrench attack people.
Correct me if I’m wrong.
VPN?
Can you have multiple wallets in Bitkey app?
This is one of the big things we’re working on (check out the post!)
Bitkey’s approach to self-custody is a game-changer—removing trade-offs with a slick 2-of-3 multi-sig setup that’s secure yet simple. It’s perfect for newbies and hardcore Bitcoiners like me who want control without the hassle. BTC’s the future; this wallet’s a step toward it.
I understand that the Bitkey is designed for non-technical people, but it would be nice for there to be an OPTION to obtain seed words in case CashApp ever experiences operational issues or otherwise deprecates the Bitkey project.
Would also be nice to allow it to connect to my own node over Tor, rather than Block’s servers. Otherwise, I cannot recommend it wholeheartedly to noobs.
Honestly!
Anyone that can't see how brilliant this Bitcoin custody solution is needs to think about it a bit more.
Bitkey is currently in its most primitive state and after reading Bitkeys whitepaper I really can see the potential here.
Bitcoin is a software solution to a major real world problem.
Bitkey is a software solution to a major real world problem.
Well done Bitkey.
Glad to hear it. Hopefully you can provably resolve this issue, I’d love to try your product if so.
A little disappointed there isn’t expanded interoperability with other open source wallet software. The inability being able to recover outside of the bitkey/block stack is really the only thing keeping me from using this solution
Yes but doesn’t explain the specific rules at play.
You can consolidate, but not yet manage UTXOs directly in Bitkey. Could you tell me more about how you want to manage UTXOs? Individual UTXO choice per transaction, or more like two separate accounts, something else?
Right here on nostr works just fine. What do you have in mind?
You can always move your bitcoin without Block using the two keys you hold, even if Block servers are unreachable. And if you can’t get the Bitkey app from the app stores anymore, you can move your bitcoin using Bitkey’s Emergency Access Kit (
https://support.bitkey.world/hc/en-us/articles/24395170222868-What-is-an-Emergency-Access-Kit-and-how-does-it-work) using your hardware and cloud backup. Are there other scenarios you’re looking to use seed phrases for?
> Private wallet balance
This is the right direction.
> Private purchasing
This is the right direction.
One of the risks with bitkey is the banksters coming to power today or tomorrow in the US, and by threat of violence forcing the handover of keys held by block.
Are the keys held only in the US?
How do you think about distributing regime / jurisdictional risk?
Good questions
Individual UTXOs like Sparrow wallet has imho are very useful. Then you can choose to consolidate or keep separate depending on how you want to manage them. I.e. im fine to consolidate HODLHODL UTXOs, but not fine to consolidate them with UTXOs from a CEX. (Labeling helps on this of course).
How ?How to install it? How to use it?
I am with Nuri.com building the exact same device and user experience as an 100% Open Source Biometric Smart Card (MPC, NFC, NO BATTERY!) - would be great to talk and get your support!

I read and understand the Emergency Access Kit instructions, but have not tested them. Maybe I should, just for my own practical experience. I’m simply much more familiar with seed phrases (through much practice) and was hoping to seen an OPTION to view them with Bitkey somehow.
I’d love for an auto invest feature (i.e., automatically buy and deposit into Bitkey). Any plans?
Is there a possibility to make the iOS app available everywhere? That would make it easier for me to convince my friends and family to use bitkey :)
We could use an edit button on sats bro
I would like a cohesive strategy and philosophy with sister company CashApp. They have quietly become the most anti-Bitcoin company with their transfer restrictions. Worse than any bank.
My main issue with Bitkey is I have no idea on how the keys were generated (I have looked thru the source code but most of it is kept secret).
Allow me to use my own keys/generation please.
The downside in the bitkey. Io . Not everyone can used it as it need a bit tech knowledge on how to used in in the RAM.
Hmm uhm the vulnerability is there . Need improvement as the mentioned it in their website .
Congrats for the great 👍 result .
