An overactive one for sure
Sort of yeah
Yes. Entire ass conversations
Yes
I do indeed, I've read though, that 70% of people don't, which explains a lot🙄.
Definitely
all the time, saying no and telling me the reasons to not do something 👍
Yes, an extremely self-critical superego
Yes. It's and it's very active.
Yes. Sometimes it’s an outer dialogue if I’m alone.
If by inner you mean me speaking to myself aloud having entire conversations while pacing up and down the house, of course not. I mean, yes, yes.
Back and forth? No. But I do have an inner voice.
Daddy, what's an ass conversation?

Starting to suspect its an IQ thing.

I'd suspect most here are certainly on the right hand side of the bell curve🤝🏻.
I talk to my inner dialogue. It’s really insightful
Dead silence. I wonder why it is too tbh. Often times I feel like the guy from office space right after he was hyponotized…🤷♂️
I disagree. I am no simp and have zero inner dialogue. I am not quite sure the reasoning behind (why I don’t have one) it, but I think people who have them are fascinating because it’s hard for me to fathom internal dialogue interfering with my workflow and thought process 🤷♂️🤝.
Different pots for different lids I suppose?🤷♂️✊
Just be thankful that you are that way inclined then, I wish I was. It can be quite challenging at times, particularly when trying to get to sleep, which is certainly not something that comes easy, for me.
Several at one time
Yeah, he's a frickin genius. No idea how that changes when it comes out though 🤐
Yes, I do. All the time. This inner dialogue helps me to check myself, in my actions, deeds and reactions.
Lately I have been very active, in coming from a place of self observation.
That is definitely tough. I am grateful for it. What have you tried to help calm the voice/get yourself to sleep when that happens?
Outside deep meditation states, I know no silence
I think it’s the other way around?
Don't think so🤔, though I'd be happy to be proved wrong.
Very little works unfortunately, apart from drinking a lot of alcohol😂, which obviously isn't good. I just have to wait for my brain to eventually switch off🙄.
Try Jasmin tea and insence before bed...no phone no TV, at least 1h before...a salt bath. SwáSthya ioga, probably would be a good practise for you.
Thanks, a hot bath just before bed does actually help sometimes.
It relaxes...🫂
Anecdotally, almost everyone I speak to about this topic does. 🤷♂️
Always, especially while washing dishes. Legit
A quick scan of Google suggests 30-50% do, and I'm pretty sure I read an article that had the 30% figure as the benchmark. It's all subjective of course🤷🏻♂️.
Seems mind blowing not being able to.
Sometimes I need to tell him to shut up 🤐 He needs to be confronted!
Damn I’m sorry to hear that fren. Hopefully you can find a way to tap in and quiet that voice down eventually. Alcohol just ruins rem sleep so badly it’s a habit hopefully you can break
Maybe a indica edible or joint before bed ? (If you 💨)
Packed in about 20 years ago🙄😂.
Well it’s never too late to go back lol 🤷♂️😂.
I have had bad injuries from sports and I use it for pain/discomfort and it rocks better than any script of bs ✊

6 habits of people with high IQ. Is this you?
I've noticed that this has started to come to public attention fairly recently as a significant difference between people and it's apparently been overlooked for most of human history.... 😳

Active monologue.
I am often ignored 🤣
Wouldn't you like to know...

yes and it's importante for my sanity to listen to him
a lot 😁
Self and ego.
Yeah, it make you believe there is a self, such a joke🤣
