Yeah I’ve always gone back to Primal.
I keep both ..Primal and Amethyst ..
Primal for search and zaps .. Amethyst for reading long threads ..

That's because "details that don't matter" is subjective. Primal required you to raw dog your nsec for like a year or more after amber was built.
worst case scenario: you wait long enough to switch that Primal realizes it can "deboost" notes about competitor clients and by the time you should be switching comes around, you won't even know you should or where to go.
