I feel like I chose the wrong time to quit oxycodone. π
I have been oxycodone free for 2 months now, since relapsing 6 months ago when I lost my mum.
I have also cut codeine and morphine use by about half in the last month, since switching to a herbal solution to aid sleep. π΄
I am so fortunate to have such a supportive wife. π₯°
Nostr frens, you have been great support too. π«π

Thanks, Rob. π«
Never knew this. Feel very sorry for you. Stay strong!
There's never gonna be a right time you just have to do things
Very true. π€
Thanks, Jeroen.
I quit before when my son was born in '21, after 2Β½ years on the stuff. I'm not proud of the relapse.
I can only imagine the hold this must have over you. I never had to deal with such a dependence fortunately. I hope you can kick it in the nuts. Take care!
Thanks again, Jeroen.
For a while it's necessary to deal with the pain. But opioids are a very blunt instrument that just numbs everything. Then quitting involves getting over the pain of withdrawal. It becomes too easy to stay comfortably numb.
It's what i keep hearing. Have you considered something like ibogain? Seems very powerful when it comes to opioid addictions.
I have willpower. πͺ
That is the best solution of course. Will your way through it. Good luck brother.
