Jack is under the delusion that simplicity is more impactful.
Simplicity gives you room to do a tremendous amount of mental gymnastics to fill in the gaps. Sure the illusion of substance and something great is there... but the reality is... it's probably just lacking thought.... and the writer/poster needs the onlookers to do the thinking for them.
