America is ranked 3rd in gun violence out of 193 countries. So clearly, America is incredibly unsafe and dangerous…right? However this is where it gets interesting. If you were to remove Detroit, LA, Philadelphia, St. Louis, and Chicago; America would fall to 189 out 193. Ironically these five cities are liberal run with some of the most strictest gun laws. Perfect example of how politicians can ruin a city.

Interesting. Do you know of any place where you can compare gun violence by states and other countries?
This is interesting, but: 0. Source? 1. Cities don't have border checks, so gun laws are pretty ineffective. 2. Am I also allowed to cherry pick in the other 193 countries? I have a hunch that if I would the US would shoot way back up on the list. 3. Cities tend to be liberal run, so there is some skew here.

Evidence? How do we know you didn't make all of those numbers up?

That “3rd out of 193” figure is about total firearm deaths, which by itself doesn’t mean much since it’s not a per capita number. Per capita is the real deal: With those cities included (full U.S. data, 2022), the firearm homicide rate is ≈ 5.0 per 100,000 people. Without Detroit, LA, Philadelphia, St. Louis, and Chicago, it drops just a bit to ≈ 4.5 per 100,000. Still nothing to write home about when you know that in Singapore it’s approximately 0.01 per 100,000, 0.02 in South Korea, 0.04 in the UK, or 0.1 in Switzerland — which has a TON of firearms! That’s 4.5 vs 0.1. And just to be clear: guns themselves aren’t the problem. I’m not a gun enthusiast, nor am I strongly against them. I’m happy I live in a country where you can’t just walk around buying and carrying one (you can buy and carry, but you have to pass a lot of exams and tests). The fact is, there are countries with a shitload of guns that don’t even come close to the death rate the U.S. has — so it’s more than clear that guns themselves are not the problem.

Every single day in USA police kill unarmed people during "random" traffic stops. Like half the gun deaths in USA are at the hands of police. Also USA has school shootings weekly. It's a culture problem not a gun problem.
How about these 5 + cities? 🤔 This is actually what I find interesting… The cities with the highest rates of gun violence often shift, but based on recent data, some of the top contenders include Memphis, Tennessee, St. Louis, Missouri, and Baltimore, Maryland. Other cities experiencing high rates of gun violence include Washington, D.C. and Birmingham, Alabama. #donttrustverify

I know this is a lie, because we don't have weekly school shootings and mass casualty events. I mean, every concert or public event is a potential death situation in America, so I highly doubt it. Also, straight from the horse's mouth, Kash Patel, his stats to congress were worse than SA's daily. For instance, 60 homicides a day. Trump also just mentioned about Washington DC, who was averaging 13 deaths a day... So yeah, don't believe everything you heard about SA.

But this works for every country. It is called Pareto's law: 80% of consequences come from 20% of causes.

Please show your math, I’m calling bullshit. There are several dozen other extremely violent large cities in the US. I added up: New Orleans, Baltimore, St Louis, Oklahoma City, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Newark, Cincinnati, Louisville, Memphis, Birmingham, Cleveland, Phoenix and that totaled 2,271 murders in 2024. There are so many more violent murder-ridden cities in the USA I haven’t accounted for. To put the 2,271 murder figure in perspective, these countries had less murder’s in 2023/2023: Australia (448), Canada (788), Japan (912), Germany (661), Argentina (≈2000), Italy (334). This list could go on and on and on. And I only totaled up homicides from 14 cities. Publish a correction that you’re making shit up.
