How wild is it that most people on earth just take for granted that money is political and can be turned on and off at the whims of a politician Imagine the collateral damage here for people just trying to support their families Make no mistake, advancing open neutral money for the world is one of the most important things we can do image

This is why decentralized money matters. When politics can cut off lifelines overnight, it’s not just about finance, it’s about human dignity. #NeutralMoneyNow

True. This can be a real struggle. Bitcoin fixes this.
It's totally wild. Thank God for Grandma teaching me about EO 6102 and Gresham's law through her coin collection. Kind of crazy how most people lose life-sustaining knowledge in a generation or less.

Advancing open neutral money for the world is important, but remember that Western Union are also doing it for us by forcing people to look for other routes.
The ability for any centralized financial oracle to get state captured is why everyone needs to stack sats directly to self-custody. Whether its through Bitcoin Well or someone else, you literally cannot afford to keep sats on a CEX and wait... cause at any moment those sats can be seized

Just to play devils advocate. Bypassing sanctions is a double-edged sword. It's one of the few ways we can influence foreign policy and stop wars.

Nobody gives grants to the SWIFT, why are ppl taking things for granted when it doesn't concern them affront?
BTC fixes this. That’s one good thing. I love when Western Union does stuff like this. Committing suicide, as they should.

the problem is , in some country like Philippine or Thailand , not so much adaption on lighting wallet , therefor many use service as western union , wired or things like that . hmm...Paypal used to be blocked in Indonesia as I recalled and don't know if it resumed the service . I have a friend who have 200$ balanced gone cause the service is blocked . from that moment on , she told me , she will never used any digital payment system which is not approved or used by the government . and what government used ? regular visa , master card , debit . she used wallet Sathoshi but not using it in regular basis . she afraid her balanced will gone or the govt closed satoshi wallet .

Wish Thailand and other neighbouring nations were using it more.
I was told back in 2022 that I was not allowed to continue taking payments from my Russian students, since Russians had been put in 'the naughty corner'. It became literally impossible for Russians to pay me via SWIFT. But this was NOT a bad thing.... Russians now pay me in Bitcoin, which is the best possible outcome I can imagine. In fact, it ain't just Russians. Now lots of students prefer to pay me with REAL money. Thanks to the UK government for encouraging Bitcoin adoption among my students. I couldn't have done it without you.
