Nostr first announcement:
We’ve now have the capital backing for our first landfill-gas-powered bitcoin mining project
One small step closer to taking the bitcoin network emission negative and ending Bitcoin energy FUD
We’re now turning our attention to identifying as many landfill sites as we can that fit our brief.
If you have contacts in waste management and want to know more about what we’re looking for, send me a Nostr message.

Congrats. I don’t have any contacts but if you need a site assessment or flood/hazard vulnerability study completed, let me know.
🤩
Thanks for everything you’re doing Daniel.
Bitcoin as green tech is the most difficult thing to grasp for regulators and was the main reason why the EU favorably looked at PoS chains.
Everything that you’re doing, including the debunking of commissioned studies that just spread misinformation, is tremendously helping.
I only hope we’ll all agree before it is too late (i.e. before the hashrate is completely out of the EU and it is too late for us to catch up).
I’ve always thought that we could use bitcoin miners here in Vermont for big dairy operations. Those manure piles generate a lot of methane.
fantastic. now we are moving forward.

Good Luck. Interested to see how profitable this can be. without looking too far into it I have always felt this kind of project would cost to much.
👏 Nice, congrats!

Cool! But only commies believe that CO2 is actually responsible for bad weather. Tell anti-energy, anti-prosperity haters to fuck right off!

Nice work Daniel - where in the world is it?
You’re not doing anything good with falling for the #climatescam
Absolutely. 1000 cows = 1/4 MW. Get four farms together with 1000 cows and you have a potentially financially viable project.
It is capital intensive. But the 1c/kWh electricity means that the economics work for bitcoin mining (but not for traditional datacenters)
Love to see this
Congrats
I’m so confused where is the connection between mitigating landfills while seeking profitable business and “falling for climate histeria” or climate change altogether 🤔
