A lot of people want local state government to be in power when they are not in charge of the federal government. Once they gain control of the federal government, they mock state power and want as much concentration over them as possible. This is why I don’t view politics as likely to fix things. My main hopes are 1) technology and 2) bottom-up culture. The printing press changed things forever. And then the telegraph did the same centuries later. And the discovery and usage of oil. The internal combustion engine. Electricity. Radio. The internet. Bitcoin. Tech can spread everywhere and permanently, while policies focuses on a specific location and temporarily.

Indeed policies focus on the politically connected. I learned recently that efforts to conserve a specific species in an ecosystem are less effective to that end than efforts to conserve the entire ecosystem. Most policies are designed to a specific, focused end. Whereas proliferation of technology benefits the ecosystem.
I hold out some hope for people simply insisting on living free and ignoring all ruler decrees that are not consistent with ethics to the extend they can afford to. Governments at all levels become out-of-control when too many believe some few should ruler over the many and that it is right to do whatever rulers say just because a ruler said it.

There needs to be one king who we love with absolute power to actually get things done. And if he doesnt, we kill him. Democracy has proven corruptable and ineffective. Basically too many cooks in the kitchen with Jews buying them off and sexually Blackmailing them to make sure Christian children go to die in middle east wars for Israel

Satoshi designed a system that turned human greed into something that strengthens Bitcoin. If we create the right architecture for the government I'm sure we can achieve a similar effect. It's a matter of figuring out how to build a system that taps negative human behaviors for a positive effect.

I partly disagree with this techno-optimismistical determinism. The 19th-century positivism crashed in the trenches of World War I. Technology in itself can be helpful but it cannot be the solution for every problem in the world, sometimes it creates new problem instead of solving them. It is human nature, our 'soul' that should be investigated to understand why we struggle to build a better world.
And it is precisely one of the main limitations of the Anglo-Saxon weltanschauung to approach the world solely from a materialistic and empirical perspective.

We need to teach Grammar, Logic and Rhetoric.... Only then can we have philosophical conversations that can lead to a resilient culture based on shared morality.... Then we can engineer and implement technology that aligns with those ethical principles. Or we can just buy any dip. Either way, I'm bullish.
Politics is how a population collectively pretends reality can be bent to their will through people placed in positions of authority, while in reality that authority is used to deceive, fleece and enslave them.
