That meme is weeks old. Trying to attach it to a terrible current event is disgusting and disingenuous but expected. I’m watching a bunch of clowns torch their own reputations and I can’t stop laughing.
dude you just called people Knotzis in that thread bc you also don't agree with them about software, and now you are talking about stupid divisions when you are bringing more fuel to the fire by taking an assassination event and sticking it to the btc spam debate, and knots specifically bc of some retard comment.
Wow, didn't have a very good view of Walker before. This takes it to new lows... He has now veered hard into being a lowlife propagandist scumbag to turn a murder that just happened today into a bullshit talking point. Charlie Kirk got murdered and so lets tie that Knots somehow... There are definitely fake Knots accounts on here looking bad for them to attempt twist it. Spam supporters use low tactics, lies and bullshit. The fact of the matter is that Bitcoin dev is horribly centralized and corrupt. They are pushing a radical change clearly and arrogantly without consensus. Knots at 20% in months from expected community pushback. View quoted note →
You clowns talk about being censored and you can’t bear to look at a diagram of a knot. They’re doing this to themselves step by step. Could’ve walked it back at at any point. Nobody is going to get paid to develop a bitcoin client that no one uses. It’s suicidal.

I'm 100% on knots side but I totally agree that this meme should be unacceptable and it doesnt matter if it was before or after today's events. To bad though that you didn't just target that person and instead decided to say "knots people". Thats the same kind of thinking that keeps this cycle going.
You understand they are saying Core’s destroying the network right? It’s clearly not a call for violence.

When did he call people knotzis? Not disagreeing. Just curious because I don't see it. If true you are 100% right

I think it is a reference to Bitcoin hanging itself .. which fits Bitcoin Core 30.0 to a tee. It's absolute suicide.
The willful misunderstanding and feigned indignation over this meme is intended to distracted from its accuracy. The phrase “tying your own noose” is a modern idiom for self-sabotage, evoking inevitable downfall through the imagery of a noose knot. Unlike traditional proverbs, it’s not a direct quote but is commonly used in online discussions and social media to warn against foolish decisions. This type of offense mining behavior, the act of deliberately seeking or fabricating reasons to be offended, is a tactic used by people losing an argument. It serves as a rhetorical strategy to shift focus, derail the conversation, or claim moral high ground when their position weakens. By feigning outrage or misinterpreting the opponent’s words, they redirect attention from the substance of the debate to a manufactured grievance.
One person posts a spicy meme vs core devs trying to turn Bitcoin into spam dumpster. Only one of these is a serious problem, and it ain't the meme.
If you truly meant your meme to be a “tying your own noose” reference, then why say “Step 5 on deck”? All you do is show a noose, then imply the next step is a hanging. It would be like me posting a picture of a grave then saying “get in.” Sure, I could later say “well what I ackshually meant is you are ‘digging your own grave’” but the onus would still be on me. Regardless, the meme just isn’t that good. Here’s a better one. image
That point has been answered so many times now, the fact you still think it's clever is embarrassing for you. However, it does show that core apologists have literally zero good arguments to make.
What a pathetic clown Walker turned out to be. Using the tragic death of a person to paint an entire cohort of Bitcoiners as murderous psychopaths for sharing a meme (that’s not even used in the implied context). What’s next, calling the cops on us? 🤡 View quoted note →
