I don't see anything to be happy for, not until they release the source code of the app to actually see whether the encryption in end to end and on devicr, which we know will never happen.

Yup, in the fiat system the one who controls the money printer dictates your fate. So he has to fall in line (eg install backdoors, collect/leak user data, etc) or he kills the golden goose. All of them want more control, nostr integration doesn’t help with that, but lip service may in the short term
