ECB Economists: Nocoiners May Be Impoverished by Rising Bitcoin Prices A new paper by ECB economists describes a 'Bitcoin-positive' scenario as one in which the price of Bitcoin continues to rise significantly and sustainably over time. "If the price of Bitcoin rises for good, the existence of Bitcoin impoverishes both non-holders and latecomers."

Wrong. 😑 You think everyone born 100 years from now are going to have a chance at being a whole coiner? Think 💭
lol “If the price of Bitcoin rises for good, the existence of Bitcoin impoverishes both non-holders and latecomers," write the economists.” THAT’S WHAT WERE HERE FOR
Non-holders and latecomers can just work and earn bitcoin like anyone else. PoW. Now have them stfu. Cry harder.
Classic psychological warfare technique, accuse your enemy of evil acts you yourself are committing to deflect blame and hopefully weaken your enemy.
I had many opportunities to buy Apple shares. In the 80's, and the 90's... And both times unturned my back on them. I am impoverished because of that. I had opportunities to trade my fiat for shares in Microsoft, Nvidia, etc... heck, even MSTR... Nope. Nope. And... Nope. I am impoverished because of that. Now, please, won't some central planner round up all those who did so and resdistribute their gains to people like me? It's just so not fair!

Broke ass people are already broke. The only people hodlers impoverish is rich fiat bag holders.
These people clearly haven't studied history. Wealth redistribution has always been a societal goal to prevent violent insurrections.

They're right, at least in the short term. It's the same as @Saifedean Ammous saying you can't shield yourself from the consequences of not holding the hardest money. Their conclusion to fight it instead of adopting it is stupid though.
